My mom and dad from Paoli. Grandparents great grandparents and cousins. Aunts and uncles. It’s our home. Moms old home place was on 37 south. Mamaw worked at Paoli chair. Dad grew up in town just off the square right next to the old high school up on the hill. Loved fishing Tucker Lake. So many precious memories. Uncle became the main boss there. We love Paoli and all it’s people. Such a wonderful place.

Thanks for the video. I am researching SE Orange County because some Crittenden ancestors lived here between 1815-1845ish. My ancestors then moved on to Laclede and Webster counties, MO. Other relatives remained and are buried there. Hope to visit and figure out where their land was at some point. Thanks again,

Great video! That old school at the end is the old Stalcup School. I was lucky enough to take 5th and 6th grade there in the latter 1970s before it was shut down. It was repurposed, obviously. The old drive-in was a great spot back in the day. Watched a lot of movies there in the 1980s. I have a lot of memories wrapped up in that little town. Thanks for doing a video on this great little place.

My family was born and raised in Paoli to include my parents and my four older brothers including myself. I unfortunately don't remember much about life in Paoli. I only "lived" it through my parents and brothers and our annual family vacation every summer. The city has changed some but I recognized a lot of places on the town square.
