There was not a better person to do this than Zakk Wylde. Thank you sir. This needed to happen, became we have never stopped listening to these songs. There are just things you never heard in metal until Pantera.

It's more a tribute than a reunion, that's why the Abbott family is ok with it. Also because two of their best friends are playing there. I'm doubting there will be a new album under the Pantera name, which is ok too.

Pantera keeps sounding tight and powerful, no surprise. My favorite band, my biggest influence, my engine. We'll always miss Dime and Vinnie, but the actual lineup couldn't be better. My respect! Long live Pantera. Keep it real, keep it steel!!!

I feel lucky to have seen Pantera with Dimebag live once... but I would love to see this celebration lineup! Pantera is the greatest metal band of all time!!!

Yeah man! I'm grateful forever ever that I saw them in 1994!!! In Portugal, what a mosh crowd ! The whole show! Pantera were wild live !!! Dimme will always be the most creative and energetic jumpy guitarist on stage. Others play well too , but no one ever jumps like he did - without missing a note!!🎸 👍🎸 That was art and passion there!!!

I am twenty years old again... I don't even care if my back doesnt work anymore, my knee's are shot, I'm deaf in one ear and I get out of breath walking up the stairs... I am whirlwind headbanging and gonna take names in the pit!! (in my head, in the living room)

I had reservations about Charlie. I knew he was a good drummer with his time in Anthrax. But he absolutely turned it up a notch and did his homework. He is playing a perfect homage to Vinnie. My hat's off to you Charlie. You're crushing it!

It's very True that! Charlie even mentioned in a interview - how He made efforts and studied each beat and music to play faithfully just as close to what Vinnie did in the drums! And Charlie does nails and delivers that, with All his Heart and Drum Beat! I'm Very happy that I saw Pantera live in Portugal in 94!!! That was out of this world! But hats off to Charlie and Zakk - these guys are doing great performances to honour the music work or Dimme and Vinnie! The Abbott brothers were Amazing musicians and fun human beings , Thank you for the unique music you made for us metalheads, RIP😘🙏🙏

Dude I’ve been saying this since day 1. Charlie has been playing Vinnie’s parts to the note. He’s the one guy who hasn’t gotten his proper shine. So impressed with him and Zakk is doing a damn fine job of filling in for Dime. Saw the boys at Met Life and they didn’t disappoint.

Just watched an interview Rick Beato did with everyone here besides Phil. They made sure it would sound almost exactly the same and really high quality live. Phil still has it and this is a phenomenal job. Have always been a fan of Zakk

God bless PanterA! My favorite Heavy Metal band of all time since I first heard them back in 1990. I can't tell you guys how many times I've seen them live in New Jersey/Philly and especially at this very same location during the 90's when they toured during Ozzfest. I still have a guitar pic that Dimebag handed me at the Electric Factory in Philly. Hail PanterA!

I was against their reunion initially, but damn every live video has made me eating my words! They still kick ass even without Vinnie and Dimebag.

I think it can be a great way for Pantera to present their music to a different fanbase, because even though Zakk and Dime were a lot alike they also had a pretty different fanbase from one another. I think this can usher in new fans that in the past might have not cared much for Pantera or overlooked them for the wrong reasons.

Phil is a badass, he was just on some shit. I still think his heavy drug use resulted in some great music…just shitty things went south, but I think he’s back in good graces

Last show I got to see was a suprise/poorly advertised show in Rockford with Coal Chamber. Made a call on the way to the show, which was literally, "hey.. They're in f'n Rockford tonight, can we get passes?" She said call back in 2. I did and we had 4 tix and passes waiting at will call. We all finally got to meet Dime, Vinny, and Rex. Although I'd been around them, I'd never walk up and do the "I'm a big fan" thing as I thought it was annoying. Wrong. Where Vinny was a bit of a, well he was a rockstar and kinda acted like one. Dime? He was exactly what you see on TV. That dude was genuinely all about the fans. He was as funny, fun, kind, amazed, happy.. and druuuunk... as you'd hope. Got both brothers and Rex to sign a GSTK cd we brought out of the car. Phil was a ghost after the show as he normally was in those late days. But that cd and those autographs, I keep with my most valuable possessions in a safe. Best shows of my life. Bar none. Never to be outdone.

He’s getting more accurate as they continue on. At the start he didn’t have that much prep time so he focused on the meat of the songs first, and kinda phoned in the solos. It’s been a while now so I’m sure he’s on the bus practicing all the time. Dude lives and breaths playing.

Zakk has always been a rather sloppy guitar player live, not tight and precise like Dime was. But he’s cleaned up his playing a lot since joining Pantera to pay tribute to the material. If I didn’t know it was Zakk, I would hardly be able to tell the difference by the sound.

I cannot wait im going to see this, seen them two weeks before dimebag passed did not ever think this could happen.

Everyone hated when they announced this tour but they are clicking now and sounding amazing and we got the best lineup to pull it off!! They all are doing amazing and they aren’t letting any fans down attending the shows! Haven’t seen one fan in the comments who was there at any show say anything negative, nothing but love ❤️

Obviously Zakk will never be Dime but i can 100% appreciate the respect he shows for Dime. It takes alot of humility to be accomplished like Zakk is and then go on a tour playing another musicians music knowing that youre gonna get destroyed by the fans for any mistake or difference
