I was at this concert. After it, about 50 people were taken to hospitals with various kinds of injuries, people brought vodka, beer, joints with them. And yet it was an unforgettable day in our lives, few people had dreamed of seeing Metallica and AC/DC live before

You have been there? It must have been unbelievable! Tell me more ;-) and what I would like to know: there are stories about the soldiers beating a lot of people in the crowd and that there were some soldiers who some kind of threw away their uniform/caps and partied with the crowd…? So I would really appreciate to hear your sight of this - historical- event!

@@monikabeki6838 Yes, it was terrible! Ruthless undemocratic soldiers beat almost half of the inhabitants of Moscow! The unfortunate Ukrainians especially got it, they were beaten especially hard for their love of freedom and for the fact that only they could already at that time protect Europe from the evil Putin

I remember catching PANTERA 'Live' sometimes back in the day (mid-late 90's) at some clubs with 200 people and sometimes in arenas with 2,000 people. PANTERA along with WHITE ZOMBIE, GWAR etc. were doing some very cool and groundbreaking stuff. Wonderful. Brilliant. Respect

I saw those shows in that era, too, late '80s, early 90's.. that kind of Metal was just finding it's way to the Eastern US. Great times. I remember White Zombie at The 9:30 Club at 930 F Street in DC was particularly epic!
Great to hear this tune 'live' when this crew was at their peak, brings back some great memories. I attended their first record release party here in North Dallas summer of 1983, no, Phil wasn't with them, and their music was actually different at the time. But they were young (like myself) and full of ambition and energy ... really swell guys too, personality-wise, lots of fun. They catered in some 6'foot sub sandwiches for us, which was cool, and I was pretty lit myelf on whiskey shots, it was a small intimate setting, and they played a little music 🟪
Definitely fantastic
Great song !
