Ingredients for dough:
6 oz cream cheese (room temp)
½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick at room temp)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 medium egg (room temp, large egg is ok as well)
1-2 tsp Pandan paste
1 ½ cup All purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
Ingredients to coat dough for baking:
½ cup confectioner sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
Serving size: 15-20 cookies (dependent on size)

Hi, I have never tried that so I’m not sure. I think you can, but will need to adjust sugar and add a little more flour.
Hi! Do you think i can replace the powdered sugar as a topping with desiccated coconut?

I followed instructions but my dough was very sticky. It came out kinda flat & the powder sugar did not stick to the cookie...not sure what I did wrong but it taste good...

Did you allow the dough to sit in fridge for a few hours? Next time if too sticky you can add a little more all purpose flour.

@lyssa This exactly happened to me the first time too, I made them again and used about 2cups flour and put the dough in the freezer an extra 20min and it was perfect.
Can you freeze the dough for future use?

Yes you can. Thaw in refrigerator prior to baking.

Depends on your sweet tooth. It’s perfect for me, it does run sweet but then again it’s a cookie.
How long do they last in the fridge?

After baked? I leave mines out of fridge in a closed container and it’s good for up to 5 days. It starts to get a little hard after 5 days.

I’m not sure, this is medium size bigger than melon scoop. I’ll have to check when I go back to the store on sizing. Sorry.
Why roll it in the granulated sugar first instead of just the powered sugar?

You don’t have to, but it tends to help keep the powder sugar on better while baking. I do it with and without and they are almost similar result.
