First comment: Happy to see the clarification from the CDC. The medical community at large have harmed chronic pain patients by "their" interpretation of the initial set of CDC guidelines. And, it is a shame that liability plays such a large role in treating patients. What happened to "Do No Harm." (I am fortunate to have wonderful medical providers but on occasion have been treated questionably by hospitals and pharmacies.) Second comment: Chronic pain patients should be sitting on the boards of policymakers. Our quality of life is being held in the hands of policymakers, most of whom have no experience with such matters. Thank you Mission Cure for all that you do for pancreatitis patients. - from a chronic pancreatitis patient of 17 years

Hey I hear you, here in Michigan I've been to hospital a few times now been back and forth to the doctor for years. Not once given pain killers. 😢 yet I've also never been a opioid or even a drug user! I have no history of drug abuse yet my doctor never talks about using even a low dose painkiller like a hydro or something. I'm just surprised it depends where you go in the country for sure! Good luck with your struggle keep going don't give up
