Nutrition for Pancreatitis [WEBINAR]

In this Mission: Cure patient education webinar, pancreatic nutritionist Mary Phillips discusses the different complications associated with nutrition and pancreatitis.
Nutrition is a very important consideration for people suffering from chronic and recurrent acute pancreatitis. Patients have issues with nausea, vomiting, keeping on weight, and staying hydrated. Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI), malnutrition, and type 3c diabetes are also related to nutrition and common in all pancreatitis patients.
Watch this webinar if you want to learn about:
~Nutrition for chronic pancreatitis
~Nutritional advice for pancreatitis
~How to take pancreatic enzymes
~What is malnutrition and what contributes to it
~Type 3c diabetes management and symptoms
....And more!
Mission: Cure is working to cure chronic and recurrent acute pancreatitis using impact investing and innovative financing. Our webinars educate patients, families and clinicians about pancreatitis.

My EPI fecal lactase score is 148. I have lost close to 40 pounds over a 2 year period. Bloating, gas oily stools have calmed down. I tried the pert using CREON and ZENPEP. TERRIBLE side effects headaches from hell, gut pain plus increased my tinnitus so f….. bad, ringing in my left ear. I stopped taking the pig enzymes PERT. I pray to God I have an appointment in January 2023 at Johns Hopkins hospital with a highly renown Pancreas doctor. I do not drink or smoke. I take fat soluble vitamins with my small low fat meals every day. I can not take PERT !

Thanks so much for uploading/making this! I got out of hospital today, diagnosed with acute pancreatitis a couple months back and now its chronic with some necrosis. This has helped me feel reassured and your website is amazing, so much great information! I learned way more in this video than over 2 weeks in hospital, really appreciate it. I'm going to try to come back to this video once a year to comment :)

Enzymes are working like a key. How many foods locks can be opened possibly by one key? How much enzymes I need in numbers or amounts?
