Seeing it on a small screen, recorded from the deck of a large vessel, will never really convey how big those waves are. Beautiful footage!

What huge waves? A fair wind in summer from the back! I've crossed the North Atlantic several times in winter, from Norway to New Foundland.

Outstanding videography! It’s worth watching several times. The music was not needed.

Hard to judge the size of the waves being on such a huge ship and being up high. I love this stuff!!!

Keep in mind - even with such large waves - this is calm weather for the North Atlantic. It can get far worse in storm conditions.

Great video showing the pitching and rolling of this huge vessel in the Atlantic ocean. This is not even a storm on the north Atlantic ocean these are only big waves.

When I was in the Navy many years ago I was on the USS Midway and hit a monster wave that made the carrier roll 26 degrees, it was during a typhoon near the Philippines in 1988.

Awesome video. The sight of the deep blue foamy North Sea heaving like that literally scared the living daylights out of me 😱 - and I’m sure I’m guaranteed nightmares tonight. The worlds oceans scare the (bleep) out of me. Being out in space isn’t scary. THIS is freaking scary. Anyone who sails in this is a brave person who has my utmost respect….😔

Sitting tied to a dock they seem so incredibly strong, with all that steel. But get them in some big waves and that can be some frightening stuff. My hats off to the guys that make sure cargo and fuels get where they need to go.

Biggest surf board ever... And how about that rogue wave at 2:57 that's visible between that gap, then gone a second later other side's view. That wave was way taller than the deck and other waves for a brief moment it was there.

How the hell do sailboats make it across the ocean? Or ships like the Mayflower? It blows my mind --- it seems that is was such a huge risk in the 1600s.

I make the taller of the waves about 6 to 8 metres. Interesting how the ship hardly rolls even with that following sea.

This is the most beauty of nature that God has created .adorable and also scary i can't even imagine to see from near..this bigest ocean..

It's a MUCH smoother ride in a boomer at 250 feet. Not much sunlight, tho.
