Cute movie, but I thought by the title that there would be filming in Panama. Since I've been living here I've been on the Canal many times, once for a whole day on a working tugboat. I think that was the best experience I've had so far living in Central America.

In a long career, he frequently played the heroine's father, the mayor, the commissioner of police, the district attourney, the magistrate, a chairman or CEO and mostly in supporting roles. It's more appropriate to observe, Leon Ames finally played a "leading man"

Sorry if I wasn't clear. The music itself is good. The use of the music is bad. Doesn't fit the mood of specific scenes, etc. I'm not big on a lot of music in movies. It ruins dramatic moments that stand on their own without music telling you how to feel. I'm glad you enjoyed the movie, though.

A B movie apparently inspired by the code-breaking exploits of Col. William and Elisebeth Friedman and their staff (They broke the Japanese Purple Code.) Another movie, The Cipher Bureau, may have been a continuation of this one, if not the same movie with a different name. Look for the great radio actor J. Scott Smart ("The Fat Man") as the arch-villain here....his substantial acting talents misused. For its cryptographic elements. It should have a place in the NSA's National Cryptologic Museum in Ft Meade. The rest of the movie is Grade C+. It's racist, poorly written, produced on the cheap and, for the most part, wildly overdramatic (although the always trustworthy Leon Ames turns in his usual good performance).

Buckminster Upholstery What is wrong with you. The classical music is the best part of this LOUSY MOVIE. I am just listening to Bruchs violin concerto, you have probably NEVER HEARD OF IT, you have no idea what you have missed in your life.

The worst incidental music, could not watch the movie. I can't imagine they released it with this score, probably lost the original and remixed with canned music on a later release.
