I worked as a Kelly Girl from 1969 through the 70's. One of my jobs was at Bell Aerospace, where I spent most of my time typing the manual for the SES 100B. Xerox machines were brand new then and I guess that's how copies were made as I don't remember having to use carbon paper, thank goodness! I wonder if that original manual is still around somewhere. And whatever happened to the SES 100B?

The movie looks like it was made as a very low budget b/w movie with hand painted scenery and backdrops. You can see it was meant to encourage British citizens to keep stuff upper lip and heighten morale to fight and defeat the Germans. The movie was entertainment and encouragement for many people in Britain.

Battleship is a ship class, not synonymous for “war ship” This is a heavy cruiser, maybe a Battlecruiser for its armament and tonnage. However 3x 4 turrets with 12” or so cannons are hardly anything more. Its class should had 1k to 1,250 crew, or so… and the officers not ordering Abandon Ship makes them criminals against humanity. Even the turrets position was trying to fight the ship capsizing. Ineptitude or evilness equates more or less to the same crime of war. Germany was the good nation, if any… and the villains were the Brits and their French puppets.

I get its message, that all these beautiful people with respectable professions could still be a carrier of VD, and you can't just tell at a glance which skanky individual has a disease. But it's way too coy about what it is talking about, since it can't actually talk about sexual promiscuity, etc. Just "talk to your doctor." Even from the comments here, it's clear that the ad got huge exposure but it didn't get its actual message out.

The Libyan aircraft were in their own airspace coming to investigate Americans flying over Libya’s sovereign territory and were shot down over the famed mystical chemical weapons excuse which was later used to attack Iraq and later on tried with Syria . Fun fact by some people commented on the video, the MiGs were doing a routine exercise, and the MiGs never turned to satisfy the RoE, but the F14 radar has a delay that displayed in this incident that the MiGs followed when they didn't, the pilots then asked the control which told them to hold, but the pilots didn't.... The most insane thing is the MiGs never turned on their radar!! And some say they weren't even equipped with missiles! But, because of the Tomcat radar these innocent people were targeted in their waters by a country on the other side of the world... The US launched an investigation about this incident, and they had either to hand out their pilots as criminals or make a movie about their "heroic" achievement, you can guess by now what their decision was!

I was in Anchorage during the earthquake with my dad and mom and younger brother. My mom told me that we were at a JCPenney store and my younger brother became very cranky so we went home and then the quake hit hard. We all survived and we thank God for that.
