Ian Zering actually didn´t have much time on the show, he was always on the side, while David´s character rised a lot. I wish the show only lasted the first year, things changed too much years later.

David tried to dump his old friend because he wasn't "cool" enough for the 90210 crew. I wonder what would have happened if he hadn't played with guns and killed himself. I assume they used that write him out of the show and since his character was "killed", he could never come back.

Yeah. They were a bit harsh to David but things changed after awhile. Most of them were there for he and Donna's wedding. I think they saw David like a little annoying brother or something at first.

I've been watching season 5 and 6 on dvd, about to get to the episode of crazy Tara torturing Kelly. After season 6, the show really started to go downhill. The last few seasons, most of the original cast was no longer even in the show. Even Jason Priestley was no longer on screen.
