Palm Beach Australia - Walking Up To The Lighthouse
Palm Beach is 45 kilometres (28 miles) north of Sydney, a little over a one-hour drive from the city centre.
It is one of the best suburbs in Sydney’s northernmost sea-side point and the beach is characterized by turquoise blue waters, tall pine trees, and glittering white sands. The top of the hill overlooking the ocean is dominated by the Barrenjoey Lighthouse. From here the coastal lookout is simply spectacular and one of the best is Sydney and probably in Australia. Definitely a place to visit while in Sydney.

A winter day in Sydney!! Palm Beach is a fascinating place to visit..very enjoyable walk to the top,stunning view of the Peninsula..Ideal to have picnic on the rocks overlooking the ocean..A MUST DO thing if you are in Sydney 👌

Great walk
I lived in Palm Beach in the 70's all the beaches, Whale, Avalon and the whole coastline is absolutely gorgeous. Back in the States and missing the beaches, we have nothing like Australia....not even close. I swam almost everyday even in the winter. Avalon has a build in Olympic size rock pool that is fantastic.

Hi Kim, I agree..I am originally from Italy and although we have wonderful places there too, Australia gives another feeling in terms natural beauties
