I made a rustic nest box for local birds from an old pallet. It's got three separate compartments so three families of birds can nest in it at the same time. I also scorched the timber with a blowtorch to bring out the grain and add to its rustic look.
I'm expecting small birds like blue tits and sparrows to use the nest box. It's early April now so hopefully they'll nest in it over the next few weeks.
