This conversation with Shari Redstone and Ronald S. Lauder is part of the Paley Center’s ongoing series, Media's Role in Combating Antisemitism. In 2020 Paley launched this quarterly series, convening journalists, creatives, academics, Holocaust survivors, and members of the public for discussions that shine a powerful spotlight on the alarming, critical crisis of antisemitism. This series is designed to shatter stereotypes, break down barriers, educate audiences, and bring people together.

This is total revisionism of history. Insanity. The history of Israel’s occupation and apartheid didn’t start October 7th.

You've never been to Israel. That's obvious. Because there's no apartheid in Israel. Everyone goes to the same colleges, hospitals, cafes, malls, etc. You have no idea and yet choose to spout outrageous attacks. Disgusting. Compare that to, say, Jordan, where Jews aren't allowed to own property or become citizens. Or the 650,000 Jews made to leave Arab countries in the early 1950s with just what was on their backs. The governments held their businesses, their homes and made them leave with nothing. I could go on, But I'm not sure you're listening. Why? Because you don't want to. And this is exactly why Jews need Israel, the only Jewish majority country in the world. People like you. Just leave us alone already. Israel has NEVER started a war. BTW - It must drive you nuts that Jews fight back now.
