I discovered this band about two or three years ago and I haven't stopped loving them ever since. Feels like dark optimism to me.

I was out with a mate in the UK and after a few beers and hyping up we bought Palace tickets for the New York show, thought I might be able to get there through work. Who knows - but got to have something to shoot for! Maybe see you guys there 👋

Feel oddly proud of this band - went from seeing them play in front of 30-40 people in Leeds to seeing them sell out London Roundhouse, tour US etc. So deserved

One day I'll go to a show of these guys, this is a promise.

This makes me think of all the friends I have, and all the friends I've lost over the years. It's a feeling of overwhelming love, but also a tinge of sadness and nostalgia. It sits on my chest, like a physical weight, when I listen to this song but slowly it lifts. Truly an excellent song, it reminds me to cherish those I love. Thank you for this.
