Sometimes we take for granted the life we have here as we are distracted daily by things that pollute our minds more than cleanse them. The sun rises each day and the moon provides light for the darkness, these two simple facts carry an abundance of love not only for the world in which those things were made for but also everything that is here. Us. Everything. The world continues on and on, with or without us. It's cycle continues and continues and it never stops. This world is a creation that is in perfect harmony with itself and that harmony never ceases, that is love for the world and its life. We are flesh, nevertheless the complexity of our bodies and how they work day in and day out, giving us what we need, taking out what we don't need, and also in a continual cycle just as the universe around us is, in love until there is no breath of life for our bodies of course. And who provides that breath of life? The Father that sits in Heaven. We are forever. We were created with love and care as was this world and thats something amongst many other things that shouldn't be forgotten as we are born into this world that is oversaturated with meaningless things that occupy our minds, things that stem from evil for the only purpose of distracting us from the wonder and beauty that life really holds. All the media, fear, negativity, vanity, it does absolutely nothing for us but spread corruption on ourself if we pay mind to it. That all means nothing but darkness and corruption and is brought to us by evil. Nonetheless, light and darkness were created so that we may learn of these things. Let go of vanity. We gotta choose life in the face of it, we gotta choose to pay attention to life rather than the darkness that is meant to take away life and our appreciation towards it. The grace of life in front of us is what should be consumed, the sympathy to help others feel good about life. We gotta have an outlook of love and understanding for the world because thats what we don't have much of, love and understanding. We have division because of greed and greed because of lack of love and lack of love because of power that is exhibited in vain, without love. But love is harmony. The creation of the universe has been in harmony since the beginning. So we must become one, we must harmonize with the world each day with gratitude for it and care for all. The division of color is a man made idea which has been allowed to flourish by the wrongdoings and outlooks of man. The disharmony of mankind is the "glitch in the matrix", a lack of faith which in turn makes one weak in the face of evil causing the battle between light and dark. We can alter the mishap of allowing evil to speak or act for us which has lead us to the darkness we see today in this world. There is no benefit on the path that is dark, only misguidance and deceitful emotion. You are loved, even if you may not realize it. The world around you loves you each day, even if the world around us doesn't want us, we are loved by what it provides by Him, because we are here for His Loving Plan, not anyone else's. So spread love without looking for reward and resist evil, so that we all may have harmony with one another, in love and understanding. Love your neighbor and do unto another as you would like done unto you, no matter who it is. Live in joy for the memories of those that have passed. Love your Creator, always and give thanks to the Father who sits in heaven, always. Spread love and His truth that is His light, and resist the adversary, always. We all have another self, an angel, a soul. Your consciousness telling you something isn't right to do or is wrong to do? That is because it has already been established in the heavens that it is not right. Light and darkness, good and evil, love and hate, these things and more were created so that we may know and learn of these things. So we may know the evil sin brings and also the good righteousness brings so that we may find the strength in reflection, through Faith, to turn from evil and be better to others when we speak and act, to realize the only path and purpose we were created for, for the Plan of the Creator of everything. And all good things come from Yahweh, so you must reverence if you will. When the end comes soon and a new beginning is nigh', will there be forgiveness and mercy for you? I ask myself the same question. We are passing through life, not time. Remember that and let love flow. Protect and feed the children and the poor. Love is the most beautiful and painful thing we'll ever experience

I saw this video shortly after my Dad passed away ....sitting in a chair ...watching tv. My Mom, the love of his life, had passed away 13 years before. He had felt so lost and empty since she had died. I pray this is how it was for my Dad when he passed. Hoping my Mom held out her arms to him and helped him to cross over. I thank Palace for this beautiful song and video. I cry every time i watch and listen but and at the same time it brings me comfort.❤

This song tore me apart and made me reassess many crucial aspects of my life. After a few months, my mind is now clear and I'm ready to make the most out of my time here and to be the best I can be for my loved ones. Thank you, Palace.

*This song shook me so hard when I first listened to it on Spotify.* It came up after my sleep playlist had finished. It stuck in my head till the morning and I found my self humming to the melody but I couldn't place where I got it from. So I went through my playlist again, but still couldn't find it. Then I found it in the play queue history. I listened to it again and then realised that this was it. It felt like finding that long lost friend again. Like, I knew the melody after I relistened to the song in the morning, it felt as if I had listened to it for the first time but at the same time had known it for years... It's werid. I must have been partially asleep/unconscious when it played cause I don't recall it the same way as I do when I hear a song for the first time.... wow this has turned into some weird long analogy lol. Point being: this is a beautiful song that envokes many emotions in an unusual way which is pretty rare nowadays

This song makes me feel very emotional. When I hear the somber lyrics and beautiful melody, I remember what it was like as a child. I remember the crystal blue skies in Wyoming as I made mud pies in the ditch. I remember listening to Three Days Grace on my grandparent's block computer. I remember the warm touch of my father's hands upon my shoulders after catching the football. I reminisce and think about those fleeting days now that I have grown. What I would do to see my loved ones again, to feel warmth and love instead of haunting dread and an emptiness in my stomach. Maybe if I could go back, I wouldn't have developed depression or fall in love with the wrong people. To anyone listening to this, savor the moments. Time is a fleeting fox that you'll never catch. I just lost my grandmother december of last year due to cancer. I keep on forgetting that she's gone and whenever I remember that she's gone, I cry so much bc I just miss her being here with me. She has been taking care of me for as long as I can remember and when she passed away, everything changed. I'm happy that she's at peace now and not dealing with any pain she never deserved. I love her so much.

This song is like a reflection of life. Like when you're at the later stages looking back at everything you've done leading up to your final moments. Would you go back and change a thing?

I want to go back and change everything. I've made to many mistakes, i hurt a lot of people that didn't deserve it.

I cry so hard everytime i hear this song. But at the same time i know it will be alright. Because we worry so much about what dosnt matter and so little about what does. But in the end none of it really does. So just be happy. And if your reading this love you and i want you to know that you are not alone and no matter what you got someone. Im 23 but ive seen a thousand lifetimes and i want you to be happy and just be. No matter what. I love you i dont know know you but i love you. And if your going through something just know you will make it through and you will prevail over the darkness. If one song could heal the world it would be this. So please dont give up. I didn't know every lyric at first and recently found y'all a few months ago I'd only heard a few seconds of this days ago and remembered I liked it and told my boyfriend I felt something spiritual and godly in my soul just in the first few seconds of it keep in mind I had no idea what you were saying yet. I felt it before I knew anything at all. Y'all gave me a really good cry for sure. Been in the process the past year of change just lots of change. I love everything I've heard from y'all and when you can feel it deep inside like this I think it's as close to heaven or God as you can truly get. I just hope other people find this too.

I have been dealing with alot lately I am I had an emotional shutdown I have been struggling to cry and let it all out for a very long time but I finally did how warm are those tears to shed in silence can almost burn your skin I was looking for this piece of for a while now this is true art

my grandpa is dying. he had to bury his wife, then my uncle, and had 2 strokes in a roll. he came to live with us and now i take care of him, i do it with all the love in my heart so when he’s gone he will know how loved he was, no matter the mistakes he made. when i was born, he said he didn’t want to be near me because i’m not my father’s biological daughter, but he adopted me and he is my father, my only father; now my grandpa points to his hearts everytime he sees me, it’s his way to say he loves me a lot. we spend all our days together, i read to him, he tells me about his youth, we even wrote a diary for him. when i ask what he wants, he points to the sky and says “i wanna go” and though it breaks my heart, i still love him and i want his suffering to be over, even though i’ll miss him every single day for my entire life, so i take his hand and say “you’ll go soon, don’t worry”. as a pantheist, i want to believe he will see the love is life and son again, and tell that the end of his life was full of love, caring and family. when i think my grandpa is dying, this song comes up to me. so… thank you. ❤

I watched my dad die of cancer, we both know/knew depression too well, I just hope wherever he is he doesn’t know pain, that’s why this song gets me 🥹😭

This is an essence of existence. It's one of the songs that stops me completely. Whatever I'm doing, when I hear this song, everything becomes insignificant, I detach myself from my reality and begin to see more. Like switching from first person to third person view. My being is scattered in the universe, with every bit of me feeling the vastness and beauty of everything and I feel like I want to be everywhere and feel everything at the same time, experience all known and unknown, and when I look back down on myself and everything that surrounds me in the world I get sad and insignificant considering what else there's out there. This song is a trip to infinity and back.

My grandmother passed away 9 days ago and my grandfather (98 years ol today) is totally destroyed, a man who lost the absolut love of his life at a age where everything is difficult. Since thar day i tried not to watch this video, but here i am, crying.

It Inspires you to make the most of it and to be more spiritual. This is the best song in regards life and death in the entire world !! Period … perhaps the best song in general too!! His singing is just fucking outstanding, the music is out of this world but especially is what it makes you feel and you can’t feel that with other song really… This song is a gift and it’s so good for when you feel that you haven’t been able to release all the sadness and confusion left especially in my case when I suddenly lost my 61 year old mother by CV and I couldn’t even come to see her and be next to her, couldn’t even give her the funeral she deserved… so thank you Palace for creating a connection between this dimension and heaven. This song is very humbling in the sense we are are designed to die and in the way this is presented reminds me that we will live on as long as we are remembered. So make your memories worth having and passing on to your decedents. My grandpa will still tell me stories of his parents and grandparents from when he was a kid, I hope they see us from up there and know we keep them living on in ours hearts. Please talk to your family and tell them you love them.

ugh this just wrecked me. makes me think of my grandfather after my grandmother passed away. he wasn't one for words, but every time we would visit him, he'd always grab our arms and say "you made my day." This beautifully captures the feeling of loss, loneliness, and longing that was so prevalent in his last few years. wow.

I always felt I am alone in my grief for lost one, nothing matters when you loose someone you love either person or pet. Feelings are same. This song travels inside my soul connects with those feelings I am having. It helps me deal with my sadness, I don't know how, but it does. I feel like crying and then I play this song and I cry. Then to song finishes and I am still sad, but it helps. Being sad is not bad. There is only the problem that other people might not understand and you feel lonely, that's why this songs exists. To not feel alone in your broken soul.

When I envisioned this music video it was of a young man struggling through life, not necessarily fitting in, questioning suicide while trying to find meaning and some shots of Palace playing the song on a mountain top like gods or something. This song made me cry when I listened to it, very moving.

Since this song came out first, I have always imagined myself having this random conversation with someone, not sure who- trying to explain what it feels like to have lost someone from your life. That it's ok to grieve and still carry on with your life, that it's ok to think about someone atleast once daily even after a long time the loss happened. Sometimes I feel like I get these flashes of the memories and I can't help but cry. But also to know it's just something I'll have to live with and I WILL live. And it's not unnatural to feel the way I do. I'm not the only one who feels the same. That there are other out there who feel the same way. Who deal with things the way I do. That it's not unique to me. I'm not crazy. There are others who feel the same and there are others who can articulate it the way I never could. And this song is the proof. And the reason I'm telling you this is it's ok to grieve. It's ok to cry. You'll be ok.

Out of all the songs I've heard in my life this one gives me an emotional reaction almost every time I hear it. I used to be a raging alcoholic. Being on the point where I felt like I lost everything. Not even knowing what I had made for myself and my life and the people I had pulled out of the same situations. The rights I had made outweighed the wrongs but it was impossible for me to see. I cannot say I would be here today if it weren't for finding my sobriety and mental health. I still struggle everyday giving myself credit for anything I work on. Songs like this remind me that even in death our memories and experiences live on and it gives me hope that someday we all might find the path to enlightenment. It reminds me of the times my best friend would text me telling me he wanted to die, and losing energy and faith in my universe because I felt the same way. Why would the universe make us suffer so much to just live? Our bond now is the strongest it's ever been even when we live 3000 miles from each other and I still weep when I hear this song. I cannot even explain or put into words the amount of suffering and death I've had throughout my life but I would take it all and more if it meant one more moment with some of the people I've lost. Never underestimate the people who care about you unconditionally, you may never see them again...

I’ve lost my father to Covid-19 on 31st of October. Now this song resonates with me more than ever before. Despite how angry I was with my dad sometimes for so many stupid reasons, I am devastated and heartbroken. There are so many words I haven’t told him and so many things we won’t be able to share together. Memory of him is the only thing that is left and it hurts. Because he was such a huge part of my life. Time will heal but everything seems so unfair right now. Like I’ve lost the last chance to tell my father that I actually loved him so much.

Esta mierda me hizo llorar como ninguna. La verdad que yo me considero alguien frío y que sabe cómo mantener sus sentimientos controlados, pero amigo, la escena dónde el hombre abraza a su hija. No pude hacer otra cosa más que recordar a mi abuelo, y en ese instante lloré, y no deje de llorar. Ahora que estoy escribiendo este comentario sigo llorando y lo comento aquí porque se que si hablo de esto con mis amigos no me entenderían. Amén mucho a sus abuelos, mi abuelo se fue cuando yo tenía 3 años y aún así siento muchísimo su perdida y a pesar de que solo mantengo en mi memoria como 3 o 4 momento junto a el. Se que es la persona que más me amó. Amén a sus abuelos y abuelas, se que no en todos los casos nos toca a alguien bueno o cariñoso, pero si es tu caso, ama a ese ser querido cómo nunca has amado a otra persona, creeme, no te arrepentirás, porque ese sentimiento de querer abrazar a algo que ya no está es algo que no se lo deseo a nadie.
