Its essential to make a distinction there. Look at our history. The last 1000 years has been waves after waves of Islamic invaders that forced conversions and destroyed our monuments, libraries, universities, sacked our cities, tortured our ancestors. The regression seen in our modern Indian culture did not always exist. We were once more modern in our outlook than we are even today. But all that was reversed with these waves after waves of invasions.

Pakistan is smaller and different, home to some of the oldest civilizations on earth like the Indus Valley civilization but is also very similar to India in regards to its development. Both need to stop fighting and resolve poverty and government issues that cripple their nation. Ultimately neither would have anything bad to say about Honduras either. Do you remember the Operation Gibraltar? Pakistan tried immitating the great Imam Tarik bin Zaid there and failed badly in 1965 war. do you remember the opeartion searchlight and operation changez khan which initiated the 1971 war and which India won by breaking Pakistan into 2 pieces. Do you remember the infiltration of Pak army regular soldiers in the disguise of Tribals into Kargil region? You did that when there were no Indian Army soldiers present there. How brave were the Pakistan Army to do that, right? Its Pakistan Army that is responsible for all the screwing you get everytime you on a war with India. I guess Pakistani people should bevome wise and understand this simple thing and stop supporting you army's faulty tactics.

One thing to consider is that India would never use more than 2/3 of its forces against Pakistan, as China might take advantage of departing forces and push into disputed border regions in the northeast. That would negate some of the numerical advantage enjoyed by India's air and ground forces.

There were many different variables in that war that made it easy for India to win and Bangladesh to get independence, our army was busy murdering Bengali people and the connection to West Pakistan had been cut, pretty sure that in case of war with West Pakistan, India will endure a tough fight.

It sure will but don't you forget that pakistan has resisted them for 70 years and four wars and will continue to do so. Btw pakistan army has also increased in ranks and is in the top 10 now. Pak army has not disclosed it's numbers on how many assets they have. They still haven't been able to take over us . But your right something like this shouldn't happen. I am not in favor of war as many Innocents on both sides die.

@@anuragst6666 yes true it was pakistan which started only in 65 and 99 both were stopped by UN. In 48 after you occupied Hyderabad and junagardh you went to occupy Kashmir. So pakistan just managed to get almost half of it. In 1971 when pakistan was busy fighting Mukhti Bahini then India attacked so don't forget these two wars were also started by India

@@paki_baloch bruh what's the point in twisting the facts? Almost every neutral source out there agrees that the 1971 war was Initiated by Pakistan after it carried out airstrikes on Indian airbases. The 1947 was was also instigated by active duty Pakistani soldiers disguised as tribesmen (a war crime). Wether Kashmir wanted to integrate with India was upto the Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir, India couldn't have just "occupied" Kashmir as you suggest. I got no hate for the Pakistanis but I don't like people straight up lying.

Saurabh Marathe , Indians are very radical and India cannot be trusted with nuclear weapons. Their government doesn't care if the poor Indians have anything to eat but they certainly needs to increase their defense. Just hope that the Indian population don't dwindle due to poverty. There is another thing to be noted that in India there are lots of clueless people who will make the war about religion and just hope that the muslims in India don't retaliate during the war with Pakistan becoz India could loose internally.

Most of the factors you are talking about are considerable on paper but in action they hardly matter, for ex - In 1965, when Indian army didn't have any edge over the Pakistani military to start with, Who would have thought that in Battle of Asal Uttar, we would beat Pak Tanks ?, Who would have thought our forces would swiftly march into Pakistan up to outskirts of Lahore ? No One..!! Even in 1971, the agencies in US with all their expertise and intelligence, projected that it would take months for India to overrun Pak defences in Bangladesh, we did it in 18 days. And this is not only true for Indian army but for any military in the world. Even for Pakistani military, these factors are completely irrelevant.
