Pakistan and Germany met in Olympic Hockey Final 1984. Pakistan won the Gold Medal by 2-1 with a nail biting finish in the end by a Goal scored by Kaleemullah in 1st Half of the Extra Time.

Revenge for 72 ...Im english and wanted pakistan to win this so badly ...Skill beat methodical play .Though Blocher was the one german player who had Asian style skills .
Manzoor Junior gave most beautiful gap pass to Kaleemullah. An exquisite combination between Manzoor Junior and Kaleemullah.
When I tired of work , I watch this video to refresh myself.

I am here after Arshad Nadeem managed to bring the gold medal for Pakistan after 40 years!
Hockey was in its best Era. Best stick work, running with the ball. Dribbling, passes,combination, rules and enthusiastic commentary, every thing was lovely. Every team have Dangerous players and tactics but Pakistani team was full of gems, stick work and Stamina was splendid. Love to see Hasan Sardar, Manzoir Jn, Hanif khan, samiullah, kaleem ullah. Shahbaz senior, tahir zaman, Shahid ali khan & mansoor goal keeper, and many many more.
Every member of this Olympic Champion Hockey Team was a star in his position!

I was at school going child in Pakistan in 1984; Pakistan played outstanding hockey throughout the Olympics 💖 … Carl Lewis (AmericanAthlete) won 4 Gold Medals in the same Olympics
