Pakistan’s Worst First Class Train 🇵🇰

Myself, ‪@SimonWilson12‬ and ‪@baldandbankrupt‬ embarked on a 24 hour sleeper train into Pakistan's most dangerous region, Balochistan! Now this train ticket costs just $11 and supposedly it was a first class ticket...however this wasn't quite the first class quality you might be thinking off.
Despite the brutal, long and dirty journey the experience was totally worth it as we travelled through the remote mountains of Pakistan! Awesome experience.

Great video!!! 👍👍👍 And memories go back in time. In the summer of 1997 we travelled by train from Zahedan (Iran) to Quetta (Pakistan) through Baluchistan, just south of Afghanistan: 28 hours, hard sleepers and it was very hot and dusty. After just one day in Quetta we took another train to Rawalpindi/Islamabad via the Bolan Pass, the Indus Valley and Lahore. This time 36 hours, NO sleepers (we lay down on our backpacks) and it was hot, dusty and very humid.

14:45. You will likely forget about these specific interactions in 20-30 years (I know you've done such acts previously). But I really doubt the kid will, he may always remember the kind white Westerner who bought him a bag of goodies, and probably excitedly told all his friends/family. I'd like to think that small acts of kindness like this probably have an immeasurable positive 'butterfly effect' impact in terms of the perception of Westeners in these countries.

I watch other KZreadrs traveling in Pakistan and everyone there seems to really care about looking after tourists. I would like to see you travel ( by motorbike maybe) in the Himalayas.

I traveled to Quetta by train once in my life from Punjab Province to Quetta back in 1998. The journey was hell in the hot month of June. The landscape was amazing so overall it was a journey to remember. Now in my late 40s, I would never take that train again.

This is brilliant stuff - Really reminds me of travelling through Malaysia by train and then by coach in the early '90's and also the Phillipines. Your'e bus and ferry travels are great to watch to and I think, very funny. I remember that when journeys were really long and uncomfortable and then the aircon system broke down so we were sweating buckets the whole way, I never minded because I valued the experience, and the company of the people of the country, who I always loved meeting and talking to. Great stuff, keep them coming. 😀🤣
