@@MisterTMH what's wrong with Uttar Pradesh? You guys should be happy that Pakistan adopted an Indian origin language given the fact that you guys keep on accusing it of divorcing itself from their Indian roots. PS Pak is now a relality to live with it. Bharat khandit ho chuka hai😂 Second before attacking Pak Punjabis, go and look at your own Punjabi Hindus living in Delhi, overwhelming majority of them have given up on Punjabi to the extent that they are enumerating Hindi as their mother tongue

Main Adha Punjabi aur adha Videshi hun . The culture ,food and Language from Lucknow are good but it is not from the soil of Kasoor and Chakwal. My late father was a freedom fighter with Neta ji and later with Nehru ji and he swore partition was a mistake.Plenty of Punjabi Hindus in Delhi still speak Punjabi. Punjab is not that far away from Delhi. We were Hindus from Jaisalmer circa 1700 AD and were converted to the Arab desert religion by the Sword of Aurangzeb and fled to NW Punjab afterwards@@msr7373

I am currently living and was born in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, and my family have been in Wales since 1957, which is about 67 years. Despite being born in Wales, I speak fluently the following: Urdu, Punjabi, English, Turkish (not too much, however, I can hold a decent conversation) & finally I can hold a conversation in Hejazi Arabic dialect spoken by the Prophet Muhammad sallalahu alayhi wasalam. So in total, I am 100% versed in about two languages in reading, speaking and writing and in typing in transileration. They are Urdu and my mother tongue which is English. Jo bhi hain, mein samaj le ta hon Urdu aur English rawangi sein. I can type in Turkish, read, write fluent Turkish but can only understand 30% of Turkish (Türkisch) words when writing or typing. Same goes for Punjabi. I can type it, speak it, understand it but cannot write it in Urdu alfaz. Meno Punjabi aanda si, lekin itna changa Punjabi meno bolni nahi aanda si (Punjabi). I can write in Turkish, Gökyuzu mavi, cımenler yesıl, günes sari. And finally Arabic, kayf haluk, ma ismak (shwaie ismak in Lebanese dialect), ismi Syed Usmaan, men ayna anta, hal tatta hadath al lughah al injizliyah? Etc.. I could go on for hours.

In Hunza alone, you'll encounter three major local languages, while across Gilgit Baltistan, a dazzling array of 13 languages weave the fabric of communication. Most locals effortlessly navigate through 3-5 languages, adding to the linguistic mosaic that defines the region. Urdu and English are the icing on the multilingual cake, making conversation an art.
