Bengali is difficult for Pakistanis as it is not a regional language of the region. Pakistans regional languages are Punjabi, Sindi, Serikhi, Balochi, Pashto, Hindko and the main language is Urdu.

Almost every Pakistani can read and say the Islamic verses/ prayers in Arabic. But they don't know the meaning. So its more of 'memorizing' than 'knowing' Arabic.

It’s so strange that their is an active refusal of teaching Punjabi in academia and teaching future generations the Punjabi language. More than half of Pakistan speaks a form in Punjabi and the langauge its self is thousands of years old. I understand the importance of Urdu as a language of cross-cultural communication but their needs to be a push for honoring, and officially protecting Punjabi and all regional languages.
