That's quality, a lot of work but well worth it. Chassis is usually the Achilles heal on the Shoguns/Pajero but now you have built it to last. What was the cost to get it Galvanised?

The hot dip galvanising was the least costly from the whole project. Only £150 in Southampton.

Seriously impressive ! Any fear of the chassis warping during the glav process.

Thanks. There was no warping at all. It's a common thing to galvanize a land rover chassis but I never saw one on a pajero.

How did you protect threads, etc. from galvanizing? Nice work!

I didn't protect them, needed to recut the threads

@@reborntools thank you for answer, today I bring chasis of my 2007 pathfinder from sand blasting, all surface rust is gone. But inside is mess full of rust, I know that prior to zinc dip they do accid bath, but I am not sure that only hot accid bath will be just enough.

Hey mate, how much was the full restoration on the chassis?

That was 10 years ago, I spent around 2k on the chassis. I have done the work myself.
