They are definitely songbirds. I think you could easily fit their clicking sounds into a wonderful song. With piano, violins, drums and guitar. A kind of love song for the two inseparable. Thank you for this beautiful video. Keep up your exceptionally good camera work 🙂

@@eadams902 Yes they are adorable! We were lucky to get this. They will occasionally sing their territorial songs simultaneously, but in different locations. This is the one and only time I've ever witnessed them doing it together, side-by-side. 🤩

I think that's a good possibility. I've also heard them make these sounds together when defending their territory from an intruding raven. They stand next to the intruder and make these sounds while slowly sidestepping towards the intruder until it eventually flies away. Hearing them make these sounds together is very rare. I hope I get another chance to capture it!

Thank you! That's a good question. I think they are making territorial calls that just happen to sound like water drops. Nearby raven pairs make similar sounds. Either way, pretty cool eh? 😄
