Usually they do sand and then prime, i say they gave the cabnits a small bit of sanding by hand alright and depending on the paint they use they might not need a prime coat. ​@LstDrgn31

Then you dont know this process do you? ...These are flush mounted doors and most likely he's using a cabacrylic over the lacquered cabinets which is compatable and will bond nicely, All is needed is a light sand and an airless to mil it out exactly as he did. If you look at the set he sprayed befor recording you will see that the finished layed out and is probably dry already,. Looks like to me that he had the right mix of reducer to control the dry time but what do I know I only been doing it for 40 years...HVLPs are non productive and the fog is worse than the overspray. AIrless is more direct, precise and easier to control IF you know what you're doing. If you dont then yes you will have a mess but that's not the case here. This man knew what he was doing. Further more the back sides of the doors are already done with this process.

@@Website-Developer First of all, no one sprays a kitchen like this.. this is a complete and utter hack job spraying the entire cabinets with doors and drawers attached. And no, that is 100% not lacquer he’s spraying but a latex paint. I really doubt your “40 years experience” has taught you anything 😂 fuck outta here

@@Helmuesi911 A lot of situations call for different procesess and in production repaints there's no time ro remove doors. I have painted everything from cars to newly constructed 20,000+ sq/ft multi-million dollar homes and there is a process for everything. What you know about me you could fit into a thimble. Even though I am 61 and retired (comfortably I might add) I can see that you dont have a clue of what you're looking at.

I’m painting my own cabinets. I removed the doors and all hardware. I degreased them and gently sanded them. This weekend I’m gonna spray paint them outside. I feel like I’m doing more than the professionals. WTF? It’s my first time painting cabinets too.

Then u open cabinet doors and see wood where the doors cover. Don't do this just take the doors off to label them and paint them seperate it will save u alot of headache

Great job dude, I like the way you work. The masking took 7hours, the painting 2 minutes, the clean up 45 minute. That’s a wrap. 👍👍👍👍👍

This is worst possible way you can spray cabinets! Sorry but this company has never done cabinets before. The doors will stick to the frame and peel and bubble so bad that everything will need to be redone

Wtf??? Really!? Attention homeowners.. this is what you get when you want to pay someone $1000 or so to paint kitchen cabinets. I bet you didn’t even clean or sand them first. You’re spraying the paint on way too heavy. Way too inconsistently. You shouldn’t start your spray directly on the surface either, nor should you stop in the middle. I’m not one to pick apart someone else’s work, but this is just so bad.. No common sense here at all!

@@PureHair.Mannheim remove all drawers & doors, clean & degrease them and any other part of the cabinet casings that are dirty, sand, blow off dust, prime, sand again, blow off dust, then “spray” paint.

These guys are the best Roadside Tire Service guys out there, don’t hesitate to let these guys change your flat tire.

Yea it was soothing considering I'm doing the same exact thing starting tomorrow. Glad i watched it because I was about to tape off the ceiling and all but i noticed they did just the top and that's it... no paint clouds everywhere... Good to know I can save some material lol

I just realized this is the same guy that posted a video of himself painting a room in 9 minutes without taping anything off. AND the same company that posted them painting the eaves AND the ends of the roof tiles of a house and then commented that the customer asked to have it done that way!!! He's a classic. Darn it, I keep giving him views though. It like watching a train wreck. You know you should look away, but can't.

LAKUINAPR that is the worst way to paint cabinets I've ever seen in my life they did not take off the doors painted over hinges just think what it's going to look like when you open up the doors there's going to be places around the frame that never got painted this is got to be the worst way I've ever seen somebody paint cabinets they give painters a bad name not to mention they probably used the cheapest latex you can find ! Anybody can buy a sprayer it does not mean that you're a professional painter

I don't know what I saw. Just have to be careful on the internet folks and do your research. I would take off the cabinet doors and prep the whole kitchen to prevent overspray. Sanding. Paint Primer I would do to prevent chipping and redo it after 2 years but that is just me and I have seen professional painters skip this step on you tube and wonder why. sanding prime. paint and sand and paint and re-assemble. This adventure is not a one-day event.

This is the type of painters you want to avoid at all cost no primer or anything doesn’t even matter if you just wiped them down
