Try using a 5 gallon empty clean bucket with a grid to roll outta instead of that homeowner green noob tray...plus at the end of day you can put a lid on the 5 gal and leave 9inch in the paint for tomorrow...if 5gal gets dry n chunky replace with clean 5gal..

You pull the roller cover off and just drop it in the paint before putting the lid on? Leave the grid in there too?
