Very true! So many people like to cheap out on paint, if you get the best, you'll usually have the best coverage, making a painters job much easier and quicker.

Is this a primer to cover the darker color before he adds the new color, by chance? Just curious. I have spent a lot of money bon GOOOOOD paint In order to try to skip the whole "primer process", but none have ever worked with one coat... and some needed 3 coats of primer! 😳 NOTE TO SELF: NEVER, EVER paint a room with a "wine" color again. EVER. 🤣

He missed the most important part of his FAST painting... Its the cutting in of edges and corners, and this guy is a master at cutting in! Very fast and a super stable hand...not seen many people who can do it as fast as him! Otherwise, it looks like he'll paint a whole house in a few hours... 😂 P. S. Let's not forget, before the painting the prep work which is required, which is around 70-80% of the work!

Nope no easy way but if you have a steady hand get a Richard gooseneck brush and take your time and you will be able to do it. That’s called dry rolling and it’s the worst possible way to roll a wall. It doesn’t cover and splatters everywhere. Notice on the second wall how much lighter is than the part that was cut in with a brush. You’re saving maybe 1 minute over dipping it and making 1-2 runs and dipping again except now you have to roll every wall twice.

You can hear it plus I use that rig every day you can't go ham with it you'll make a mess. He doesn't show you all the tiny splatter drops all over the place when he's all done. And the fact he has to pint everything again lol.

Depends on the nap you're using and the pressure applied when coming towards the edges where the splatter would be seen. E. G. Ceilings and skirting board.

You dont need to prime painted walls. Paint to coverage,usually 2 coats.

I wouldn't even recommend 18 roller for a homeowner. Go in Sherwin Williams and get a Purdy colossus 3/4 roller sleeve. Its the best imo. Holds alot of paint and cleaning them is quick.
