Thanks for watching, everyone! And correction: I think the better word is 'vernacular,' not slang. Oops! But you still get the idea :)

Thats the best one tho! lol
this isn’t showing how to steal styles, this shows to just OPEN YOUR MIND!!! BE DIFFERENT AND EXPLORE 👏👏
I think the most important thing that I learned in this video is that you admitted that you're essentially adding in random colors during the beginning phase of the painting. I know you're still adhering to color theory and everything, but I've always struggled with understanding where artists got the little different splotches of colors within each main area of value. Saying that these color choices are not entirely deliberate is really enlightening and I think I'll try applying this mentality the next time I paint. Thanks!

"Bring chaos into order" Yes! I feel that too when I'm painting or drawing. Thank you for putting it into words and so much thanks for your videos, they're so helpful and inspiring!
I liked the first drawing as it looks all dark and gritty like something you see on a movie poster or a video game front cover.

What is this style called? I would like to study it more.
This video is just a work of art in itself. You did such a good job explaining how you were creating the artwork. There wasn't a "Draw the rest of the owl" sort of moment. Showing the closeups of the jaw was really demonstrative as well. Thanks

As full of wisdom and well presented all your videos on painting are, I have found that this one in particular has helped me the most with my art. I have spent years trying to grind fundamentals and do studies every day, anxiously sitting in front of the canvas and clenching my stylus like a gun was pointed to my head, ready to go off at the slightest mistake. What this particular exercise of yours showed me was that painting was, first and foremost, fun. I looked at you laying down big shapes on the canvas, playing in that puddle of chaos without caring about how wet your boots were going to get. It has offered me so much comfort to see that art can, and should be an exploration. I have started doing personnal projects alongside my studies and letting loose a little bit on the canvas, and I have never felt better about painting. Thank you for everything you're doing for the community, Marc
OMG! This is incredibly well explained. This just goes to show that painting is just a mosaic of shapes of different varieties coming together and we have to train our mind to see that way. The end result is affected by how you feel about those shapes. Thank you so much for your videos!
I love the approach of blocking in with texture at the beginning to influence the direction of your work. I’m an amateur musician and some of my best stuff has started with ambient recordings of the outdoors, then building on that.
Every lesson of yours clarifies the fundamentals so much more and makes me eager to learn and explore it more!! This one was truly mind-blowing! You, Sir, are a master!

This is one of the best videos about style in art I've seen so far. Even though I am a traditional and not a digital artist it was extremly helpful and inspiring. Thank you!!!
"Ordo Ad Chao"... that's all about in this Universe. Amazing.
Thank you, Marco. Your videos are an inspiration that got me back into art. Best of luck with your work.
Lately, I've binge-watched a number of your videos for a fresh perspective on things...and I think it is safe to say: You are my hero when it comes to colour and digital paint!!!

I really love your videos. Coming from someone who focused on drawing and is now trying to add in painting and increase my skills, these have been very valuable. Thank You
That is one of the most helpful advices i've heard so far about art. I really thank you for your insight on it!
the fantastic juggling of form and color. stunningly!
I work traditionally, but I was mesmerized watching this. Also, these style "dialects" are very relevant to any method. Awesome!
The last one is like a bunch of colourful sticky notes shoved into a plastic jar that just so happens to be in the shape of batman.
I love coming back to Marco's older videos. They're all so very useful as important reminders. Also interesting to hear how Marco's voice changes over the years!
You got my subscription with this video! Your thoughts on chaos may be the best advice on painting I've ever received.
This is by far the best & most helpful explanation of style I've ever seen. You articulate it brilliantly! Thank you.

That 18 mins is jam packed with info but is smooth enough to surf. Phenomenal. I really appreciate it and am excited to experiment.
Great points. Well explained & demonstrated, as always. 👍🏾 My fave of the four are 1 & 3.
This was extra-didactic, so thank you for that. My favourite techniques are Batman number 2 and 3. I still can't believe how you can master so many different styles and rock them this hard. Needless to say you gained a follower!
this was so much fun to watch. brilliant as always :D
This is amazing my mind is totaly blown which almost never happens with art videos anymore because of how many i watch but this is beutiful and astounding and ahhh its great
Fantastic styles, very precise and easy to learn tutorials. Thanks!
This was really inspiring! It's given me a fresh way to think about my art. Thanks for the video!

it's like magic seeing you do these
@Marco Bucci You are my favorite tutor cause you say not only what you are doing but what you think and what decicions you make during painting and this is the most important. Sharing and describing thoughts, proccesses, decicions BEFORE you lay a stroke is the greatest lesson and not everyone can do this.

He's the best teacher any painting student can have, it's just so enlightening.
Mannn you're a genius. Your way of explaining and discovering things is just amazing
That second style omg. So awesome, gonna try it later!
Great demonstration!! I liked the first one you did the best. I have never thought about starting with random 'textures'. I generally build up 'random' colors and keep refining to get an oil painting look in my digital portraits. I digitally paint much like I would paint traditionally.
oh my GOSH !!! Man thatz Brave really courageous..and sure an eye opener .Thankyou
Marco, you are the man! Love listening to you, thank you.
That explanation of painting was poetic
Ughhh.. these videos are always so informative and great..I could hear these exact concepts in course material for years, then a ten minute Bucci tutorial and my mind is blown. HOW!? Thank you, Marco!

Thanks! I spend a considerable amount of effort in organizing thoughts and making sure I am using very clear language. It's amazing how little time you actually need to deliver a message, so long as you spend the time in advance working it out. I mean, I don't always nail it, it's something I'm always working on. I'd advise you that if you find yourself in an art class where your teacher cannot get through to you in a single session, chances are that teacher is either not good, doesn't care enough, or simply not the right fit for you.
Your explanation by closing in on the corners of the mouth is so interesting! Learned something new. Such quality content. Thank you!!!!
this is really awesome! I love all the different styles for different reasons, keep up the good work!
You're very well spoken. Great tutorial.
Love all of them!
Absolutely stunning.
Thanks for sharing and teaching... Marco!
Another excellent video Marco, very well explained. Thanks for making it.
You are amazing! This was so fun to watch. Every time I watch your videos I always have something new I learned
Wow, pretty cool, I like #2 & 4 Batman's (I'm partial to the impressionist movement)!
Excellent tutorial. Love your videos.
Marc you are the best teacher. Thankyou for making these videos
My man. I could even listen to you talk about painting without the video! So glad I found you! Big thanks for sending me here Shaishav!
Of all the art channels i follow, yours is the one I have learnt the most from (Some of which I have been subbed to for over 2 years). Only been around since your latest three videos, but I have been able to take so much of your advice to heart. I recently won an art competition by following your advice on abstraction! Thank you for making these wonderful lessons! Also, nice name!

cool i love the randomness and exploring the uncomfortable breakthrough in one comfort zone. Exploring wild colors and shapes to achieve cool artistic styles. love how you compare the different ones as well! This will help me break out of my artist Fears! Thanks Man!
The n1 looks amazing!
Awesome video, it's obvious how much time and effort went into it. Thank you :)
Your videos are really great. You are honest and straight forward about how photoshop painting is dependent on fundamentals but also give insight to how it is an amazing tool that can really give you beautiful and relatively fast results. As an analogy, it is like a missile that you need to guide with fundamentals or it can blow up in your face. Keep up the good work I've grown a bunch by watching your videos.

your Videos are so awesome and inspirational .. Thank you too much!
His was a great video to watch with some very helpful examples.
16:30 struck me as very similar to something you could program a deep learning program to emulate. Thank you for the video. I'm realizing more and more lately how important the fundamentals are for many things.
2 minutes in to your narration and I know you are a master at what you do.
Dude I learned more from this video than any other digital painting video i have ever watched. Thank you. You are so direct and clear.
