Louise, you are my favorite watercolor instructor. I love how you keep things simple and I love a limited palate. But girl, I have to say, I love the bloopers. It makes me laugh, and realize I’m not the only one who’s word’s don’t come out the way I want them to. 😂

😂 Thanks so much Rhonda.
"accepting what the paint gives me" is now my watercolour mantra. it never gets any better when I mess with the paint... The bird turned out fantastic!

such a lovely big blue birb 😀 wonderful job with the black markings
Oh my... i hope this is on patreon because i love blue jays. 😍😍😍
Lovely. Birds, birds, and more birds! My fav.
Beautiful bluejay! I have got to try this with limited colors.
Beautifully done Louise. A painting I will enjoy completing. We enjoy watching our blue jays in the back yard. Their colouring is stunning against the contrasting fresh white snow. They enjoy sunflower seeds and it is not uncommon to see flat boards on stilts or birdbaths filled with seeds with blue jays enjoying a meal. I would much rather see these birds eating seeds than being hasty to smaller birds! Thank you and have a great day!
Thank you so much for sharing! Loads of tips and tricks gleaned from this video👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you Louise for another wonderful video. I love your birds so much! This one is exceptional as usual, and I can't wait to give it a try. Also, like so many others, your bloopers always make my day. 🥰
Thank you Louise

I'm so glad that I stumbled across your lovely videos. You are very inspiring. Hopefully one day I'll have a small fraction of your ability!
Thank you Louise for the great tutorial of this incredible painting. I live in Canada & see Blue Jays often. They are one of my favorite birds so I am really happy you chose to paint one. It was wonderful seeing a few snippets of the black kitten again too. Will you share any details about the kitten?

Thank you Andrea. Yes I will have to. Usually we film the b-roll (secondary parts) after I have done the face to camera parts so I didn't realise he was going to be in it. His name is Leo and he's a sweety. ❤️
Wonderful as always.

You’re welcome. Thanks Amanda. 💕
Very nice! Thank you, Louise! I have one of these sketched out to paint - as well as 10 or so other birds - but I haven't tackled it yet, and your techniques have given me a place to start. 💕

Wonderful - have fun! Thank you. 💕
Loved the blurred edge! I need to practice this technique more because in my case the blurred portion always looks unnatural and forced. Thanks you!

Hi Christine. Yes I will be putting it on Patreon. You can message me directly on Patreon if you need to.
Where can I get a ceramic palette like that (time stamp 3:55)?
Louise, sorry I am so confused. I thought I needed to join Skillshare in order to see the class on this blue jay. But I don’t see that class in Skillshare. Is it already on Patreon, or is it an upcoming Patreon class? (I am rejoining your Patreon in Feb.)
