Hullo Emma, Tulips have always been my go to painting subject when I am at a loss for inspiration, I just pull up one of the thousands of Tulip photo's I have taken in 30+years and just paint! The variety and range of colors found in this flower is truly astonishing! I believe you did a lovely job in capturing these flowers, thank you for giving everyone a view to these wonderful subjects!

Is the Etchr cold pressed sketchbook watercolor paper smoother than Arches? I’ve been painting on Arches but I think I might prefer something smoother 💐
I really like your style. It would be most helpful if you could tell us what technique you are using as you progress in your painting. I know you said wet on wet in the beginning. I think you are doing some wet on dry. I am a beginner and it’s very helpful to know the techniques as you move along in your painting.
