Paint Texture Experiments in a Loose Abstract Watercolor
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Paint a flowing abstract watercolour with me where I put into practice some of the textural effects I tried out in last Friday's watercolour experiments. In this project, I used plastic wrap, stamping, scratching lines and adding salt to create special effects in my painting.

What type of tape do you use for the border that doesn’t tear the paper? Thank you!

I use any cheap masking tape - if it’s too sticky, tape it to the table surface before sticking to your paper.

I keep seeing that paper (?) with that decorative border. What is that, a type of paper or something else?

Yes, previous commenter is right, it’s an Arches watercolour block.

@@LouDavis ah, the “block” was the key. I see how that is slightly different. Very interesting. Thanks!
