Everyone taking their spouses for granted should know that people are missing such opportunities. I remember my high school principal telling us the importance of a river is only realised when it dries up.Brethren cherish your spouses when the river is still flowing. Be blessed 🙏

We lost our Dad in 2018. We really miss him and it has been really tough at times. But I know for sure, had it been the other way round, that my Mum passed before my Dad, I know my Dad would not survive a year. My Mum was my Dad's rock and she made sure that Dad had everything together. Made sure that Dad took his medicine everyday. They were so good together. So good. It would however, have been worse had it been the other way round. From what I have seen, men find it hard to cope after the loss of their wives.

Maybe the curriculum should be rechecked, content that children learn...it should be parents cook or do this and that and avoid gender role-ing'! Our curriculum should aim at bringing and educating our children to think broadly, well rounded. I am so touched by these stories. I feel their pains and also their bounce backs.
