To all whom shall read this. I am a Air Force veteran. Lost my dad to alcoholism he also suffered from depression, he hung himself on the back of the bathroom door with the very belt he used to discipline us with. I was 24 at the time he was 42. My mom also drank. I list 2 on my brothers to cancer...they struggled with drug addiction and due to not stopping the drugs they could not get the chemotherapy. My youngest brother has bone cancer he is in remission. I had hip replacement surgery in January 2020. I lost my thirst for life I used to lift weights and kick box...life gives so much when you are young....and then slowly takes so much as you get older...I'm now 60 and watched as my mother buried sons and husband and had the strength to stop her addiction and she gave her life to God and I stand before you to say get up I fight every day from depression, I'm back lifting and kick boxing, I have purpose, everyday I give God the glory, I thank him for the good as well as the bad, I understand that without the pain I would not know his power. Let my message hold you as you get up, let God root you in purpose, Be the best Dad, Mom, brother, sister or friend. I am here and hope that my footsteps in the sand will not be in vein. It's never to late , you have God's permission to be great....today is day one, please don't live in one day to change. I love you and hope this is received as strength and not pity.

My name is Brady Greer. I'm 31 years old and I'm from Boise Idaho. I watched my brother bleed to death in my arms when I was 9, I was abused for years by my mom and stepdad, I committed suicide at 13 and I was pronounced dead at the scene but I came back, I've been stabbed, I've had guns pointed in my face, I've been robbed and I have been hurt more times than I can count. But by the grace of God and because of these videos I've found the strength and courage to keep going. In 2016 I turned pro in golf despite all my setbacks, but retired last year to focus on bodybuilding and public speaking. My mission is to craft my body and mind into the best version possible and use the success from that to inspire others towards their dream life. I was/still listening to your motivation speech while I was working in Dunkin Donuts swiping the floor...and still listening in my current Lead technical position Worked 3 jobs to survive, 7 days a week, almost did many times an accident with my old car or falling asleep after night shift driving way back to home, i slept in a parking lot of my old job for overtime work in order to save energy, gas, bridge toll, my old plant manager called me "the rockstar of the company", lost 30 lb, from $179 saving to could afford buying a new car 9 months later, in all of these moments, my mental was always focus, strong on my targets, keeping faith, working hard and helping people around me.

I would say start with writing your feelings down and take a good look at what your writing and why it makes you feel that way. Everyone deserves the right to know why someone feels the way they feel. Nobody can give that person a straight answer unless you ask yourself, if they dont get an answer soon that's okay. Nobody loses 10 lbs in 1 intense all day session of working out, nobody achieves success overnight, nobody can be skillful at in instrument after 20hours straight of practicing. It takes time, just like it takes TIME to even get in that position of feeling like theres no point of existing. Someone has to be conditioned to feel that way in the same way they have to condition themselves to be successful and happy. Everyone has a different journey, some worse than others but theres always someone in a more difficult situation in the world. Sometimes helping out others in similar situations helps you out as well, what you put in the world is what you get back, and that's a fact. Some just dont see it unfortunately. So yeah I would say that person should start with writing or asking themselves what makes them feel unimportant and what would that person have to do to feel important again. It's not easy, but I believe every person can do it, they just have to believe in themselves.
