    Fantastic explanation for very complex paddling dynamics-in a way I can apply in the boat. As I started learning, at first a very low percentage of my strokes “got it right.” I was consciously incompetent. There’s a lot going on and staying upright dominates the mind. But seeing these clear descriptions helps me to gain a higher percentage of moments of “getting it right.” Sometimes I even string together a series of smooth efforts-longer and longer strings. I was occasionally becoming “consciously competent.” Reps must be good reps or at least progressing to good reps, and these videos help so much! At some point I will then proceed to coaching because I’m sure I will need an external expert observer to help me really move to the next level. I look forward to the day when I’m “unconsciously competent” and can just focus on navigating, putting out watts and regulating effort. Thank you! 😊
