Pada is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language mystery thriller film directed by Kamal K.M. (who directed I.D.) and starring Kunchacko Boban, Joju George, Vinayakan, and Dileesh Pothan.The film is based on a true incident that occurred in 1996 when the then Palakkad collector was held hostage.

Oh yes, I too felt exactly the same. They had no “masala” elements. It was so well taken. I enjoy watching movies that are based on true stories, and I end up Google Searching and reading Wikipedia articles based on all that was mentioned in a movie. And this movie delivered amazingly well!
