Your camera and video absolutely did justice to the views which were beyond belief. Thank you so much for sharing. Whilst my chances of persuading my wife to do a hike of this dimension are precisely zero (!) It is fantastic to see a couple deriving so much joy from being together in this glorious scenery. I want to start a long section hike of the AT in two years time, but fervently hope that I will maintain enough fitness to complete some at least of the PCT one day. Very much inspired by your experience.
Beautiful! Lovely capture of my favorite areas. Light headed? Watch that altitude sickness. Drink plenty of fluids.
Absolutely beautiful views! The lack of snow at this elevation is surprising. Here on Mt Hood the PCT is still buried under 10 feet of snow at 6,000' elevation, there's no indication of trail at all, but it should clear out by early July. See you at PCT Days on the Columbia River.
Beautiful sunrise!
the soft needle conifers are foxtail pine unique to the Southern High Sierra and then the only other place they grow is 500 miles north in the Siskiyou mountains. One of my favorites
Awesome!!!!
The sound on you all’s videos is excellent
Looked like an awesome day. I miss being in the Sierra.
Some spectacular stuff to come!
Yes, the quality of the video was excellent!! The distant granite mountains were beautiful. I couldn’t make out what the helicopter pilot was saying on the loud speaker?? Too much chopper noise. You two are doing great.

Same here, couldn't quite make it out. Two words repeated twice at the beginning, maybe a persons name? Then it went something like the California Highway Patrol would like to assist you. Please keep yourself visible. Activate your GPS emergency broadcast.
Haha, i def thought you were sunburned but then i thought “that might be reflection from their tent.”
Loving the vids. Ive been dying to know what its looking like back there in the Sierra's rn! Yewww! Chicken spring lake!
Dan, your videography was amazing! Thank you for the amazing views and awnsering all my questions. You read my mind😅. I just found you on KZread, and what a pleasure you two are.
Well done for keeping up with your daily posting. I’m amazed that you’ve got a signal, but what do I know? The breathtaking scenery is your reward for a hard day. Looking forward to Day 50!

I’m thinking they schedule their videos to go online while they’re out of service
Haha! So who bit the dust? Putting it on replay was cruel and unusual punishment... :-)
13:24 Thanks so much for throwing up the screenshot of your daily hike stats!!! 👍
Lmao not the fall on replay.
Such beauty! Yes, great filming! Been following you two every day. Excellent use of the camera. Love your town visits too. Show more if you want! Stay Safe on McKinley. Alot of snow this year. I'm sure Forester Pass will be difficult.
Gorgeous sunrise. Hope you all get to climb Whitney. It is an awesome experience. Enjoying vidoes.
Glad y'all weren't sunburnt! Enjoyed a legendary sunset at Chicken Spring Lake circa 2005. I assume y'all will trek to Crabtree and be set up nicely to a basecamp for Mt. Whitney on Day 51. Shine on!
Epic sunrise over Owens Lake. Great capture!
Awesome scenery! Love following along on your epic journey.
Thank you so much. Awesome videos an lots of information for us/me who are heading for the sierra in the next days/weeks Happy trails Navigator
Thanks so much for sharing. Miss both of you
