Mt. Mucinex! I was listening, LOL. The summit and ridge with the fog among the evergreens was magical. That snow is no joke. Some serious post holes in there. Stay safe.

You are amazing! Thank you for sharing your journey. We call the solid snow thing on the trail a mono rail in NH. If you go off it you post hole up to your thigh some times.

You should run into town and get some traction devices for your shoes. There is not going to be any less snow/ice as you hike further into the Whites. And congrats on you first alpine summit!

I was feeding a bunch of hikers t the base of Moosilauke, for lunch, then 2 hikers ate and then went up at around 4pm to ge over the top before dark!😮 “Bacon Wrap”
