That or an HD port. It’s already great. I’m not so sure it absolutely needs a remake. Extra levels would be cool though.

YEEEES MY FAVORITE GAME IS PAC MAN WORLD 2

This was the highlight of the direct for me. I can't believe they're acknowledging Pac-Man World again! Hopefully this means we get remakes of 2 & 3 and maybe even a new game later down the line.

Remakes of the Pac-Man World trilogy are definitely what the series needs right now, introduce younger audiences to the Pac-Man world since the arcade ones that get rereleased all the time don't do that very well

I’m with ya all the way, I had fond memories with that trilogy mostly with the first and second games and I managed to preorder the collectors edition of this game I can’t wait!

I still can't believe that this game is going to have a remake, one of my favorites from PS1

@@gregorsamsa79420 Yeah this game never got on a Nintendo console before so it's understandable, not counting the GBA version for obvious reasons Glad to see the 3D version be on a Nintendo console for the first time

Pac-Man has come a long way, when you think about it. This has really evolved from a 1980s classic to this wonderful piece of art!

First Klonoa and now Pac-Man. Life is truly good 😊

This is the most hyped announcement for me, I said that maybe that Namco is working on a Pac-Man World Remake on the comments of a Pac-Man Museum related video but I deleted it because I thought it was too far fetched, but now I was right all along. Absolutely epic!

i mean, it's no brainer that Namco is remaking the Pac-Man World series, because they need something to sell to the younger audiences. not to mention, they already had a 3D model of Pac-Man in Museum+ which adds to the possibility that they are indeed working on the remake.

As a Pac-Man fan. It’s beautiful.

At-Games really did a number to Bandai namco with ms.Pac-Man

A PAC-MAN World 2 remake would make me cry honestly. Really excited for this, and I hope that it’s potential success will lead to that World 2 remake.

Now we need a remake of the 2nd one so people will suffer against Blinky, or in this case, Clyde and his machine.

I was worried when this wasn't in the recent pac-man collection celebrating the anniversary. I thought they'd slap it in the online service but I'm so glad it's a remaster(?) and it's coming SOON

Out of everything I could've expected, this was NOT one of them, and I'm SO HAPPY it's REALLY HAPPENING!

I hope this remake does well, because it might possibly lead to the creation of Pac-Man World 4, just like how Crash Bandicoot gets a 4th game after so many years. This remake is going to be a whole new era for the Pac-Man World series!!

Super happy to see this. Was really disappointed when the most recent Pac Man Museum from a few weeks ago didn't even have a port of World, really happy this is here. Also really hoping this does well enough to warrant a remake of 2, and heck even 3.

I'm really glad that a bunch of games that I grew up with on the original PlayStation are being remade for the Switch and other platforms. Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Pac Man World. If games like Q*Bert from PS1/ Dreamcast, Casper from PS1 (oddly a 2D-Zelda clone, kind of), Tetris Plus, or the Digimon World PS1 games get remade, I'll be very happy.

Those ghost robot fights aren't as hard as you think; you can keep smashing them on top over and over with no limits if you can balance good enough, my best time for clearing Blinky was 24 seconds and 31 seconds for Clyde.
