I love it when cute little animations like this are made for older games.

The one thing I like about this game is the chance you can free roam as Pac-Man himself and his own arcade hub. It's basically a version of Pac-Man world we would wish to see on the switch

@@JoseAyalaVelez Bandai Namco did about 5 or 4 years ago, and the court dismissed it, which led to AtGames keeping the rights of Ms. Pac. Since she was created by GCC and so was Jr. Pac, AtGames might have purchased his rights too some time after 2020 since he was in Minecraft, but this game changes hin to Pac-Boy.

You gotta appreciate the nostalgia of Pac-Man. I know I do.

As a fan of Pac-Man, I think this will get people to play through more of Pac-Man's games and appreciate the history of the yellow dot muncher. Also this trailer was awesome

Would love a collection of the Pac Man World games (including Ms. Pac Man Maze Madness if possible), I always vibed more with the platforming games rather than the classic arcade style ones.

I can see it now: * Pac-Man World HD Trilogy releases featuring Maze Madness * Pac-Man World 4 announced after the success of the HD Trilogy * Pac-Man World 4 comes out, everyone loves it * Devs get bought out by Activision or EA * Activision/EA puts team to work making more COD games * Dev studio shuts down * Meanwhile Pac-Man crawls back into the land of constant bi-yearly re-releases

At least Pac-in-time is included in the collection, it’s the only console pac man platforming game present (pac land doesn’t rly count)

well in pacland, they removed ms. pac man and replaced it with pacmom so they could've done the same

I love how they reference the "kill screen" in the scene transitions here.

By the time Pac-Man goes through his entire legendary legacy of eating anything on his trail and journeying among different worlds in so doing, he will become another video game legend!

Please at least give us Pac-Man World 1 & 2 Also the Fairy Queen looks cute

Let's also recognize the masterpiece that is the Pac-Man Arrangement soundtrack. I consider it the 2nd best Pac-Man maze game, only behind Pac & Pal

Love the animation, fun trailer! Bummed that licensing issues are keeping Ms. Pac-Man from this collection (which I think is the best Pac-Man game in the whole series) but I still may pick this one up.

It's not licensing issues, it's with royalties. Namco doesn't want to hand out free money to AtGames. Namco fully owns Ms Pac-Man, they just don't use her because they hate AtGames.

Namco almost never use it in compilations because it's not really "official". It was developed by the US company Midway.

@@cardsharpHS It's not just that. It's also the fact that they'd have to pay royalties to AtGames for every copy sold. In Museum+, they even cut out the Ms. Pac-Man character from the games she appeared in, replacing her with this new "Pac-Mom" character... (who is basically just Ms. Pac-Man but with a different outfit.)

I love how good the pixel animation is for the trailer!

LOL Pac-Man did his Final Smash when he grabbed the power pellet.

But I need Pac-Man World 2 and 3. Those games are so good.

This collection would’ve been perfect if it had Ms. Pac-Man, Jr. Pac-Man, Pac-Man Plus, and maybe even the Pac-Man World games. Some things are just too good for this planet I guess…

Mostly due to legal BS. Basically, Ms Pac-Man is own by At-Games who bought the rights off of the original creators, and Namco had to remove her from some of the games in this collection and replace her with Pac-Mom

They don't have the rights to the Ms. Pac-Man, Plus, or Jr, and the World trilogy is a completely different beast and they obviously wouldn't release those with this collection. Jr. Pac-Man isn't anything too special anyway so it's not a big loss

I hope they use this new pac man model for a new 3d game!

We love Pac-Man! Great work at the collection, really excited to play those arcade games. Really hope in the near future Namco releases another Collection (Or make it DLC to this one idk) with Pac-Man World!

Toru Iwatani created Pac-Man after marveling a pizza with two lacked slices. Pac-Man also devoured New York City's streets in Pixels, cameoed in Wreck-It Ralph and Ralph Breaks the Internet and was invited for an all-out memorabilia battle in the last two Super Smash Bros. games.

This game showed me pac man arrangement and I love it for that

I got this for the PlayStation honestly it's a lot of fun I forgot how much fun these games can be. Also it's great for kids or if you have a friend over with kids.

The game has been a treat for me to play but I feel like there's content either missing or stuff that could be thoroughly fleshed out.

To the people asking for Pac-Man World, keep in mind that 2 of its characters are GCC creations, which are Ms. Pac and Jr. Pac. 5 years ago, AtGames bought out the Mizz in the middle of Bandai Namco attempting to settle a mistake they made back in 2002 with GCC regarding Ms. Pac arcade cabinets. This led to lawsuit war between both companies. Eventually, the law dismissed it and AtGames won, forcing Bamco to create Pac-Mom. Due to Pac-Boy's inclusion here, it is possible that AtGames got Junior from GCC as well. Additionally, AtGames themselves is a shady company with shoddy plug-n-plays, and Bamco heard of their bait-and-switch tactics once. So before you ask them to pay royalties, keep in mind that the owner of Ms. Pac (and probably Jr. by extension) is extremely shady in products as well as their legal enemy for 5 years.

It's a crappy situation for sure, and I hope @ATGames goes bankrupt at some point from all the scummy items they have released onto unknowing consumers over the years.

I really hope we get something like DLC for Ms Pac-Man. It's crazy to me that I have to be begging for paid content just because of the legal purgatory Ms Pac-Man's been living in since her inception. To my knowledge she hasn't been seen in a video game outside of the arcade1up machines since Namco Museum Remix on the Wii back in 2007. I miss her 😪
