Technically, this is how it was in the arcade, but I presume that the pitch was increased, which I actually like.

If you like Pac-Man, try RandomPac. It has been made as faithful as possible to the original arcade version except that the mazes are created randomly (they are different every time) and it contains bonus levels. Download it from lowcarb.itch.io

GBA version's soundtrack was based off the Gamecube version, which was just the Higher-pitched version of the Arcade version. the most common theory to that is the Gamecube having a different sample rate to the Arcade cabinets.

Lunatic Lemon lol perhaps, this was when the cabinet was still around back at the Cici's I used to go to. Unfortunately they took it down a few months after this was recorded. It was my favorite arcade game that I remembered practicing for hours n hours to beat it on 1 shot. It's still a lot of fun to play^

I have to ask, how did you manage to increase the pitch of the music?

Well this isn’t actually his cabinet, and even if it was, this is actually the original intended pitch. Most of the other cabinets shown on youtube are MAME conversions with the pitch of the roms from MAME. Proof is how the others have LCD screens fixed on while this one has the CRT screen left intact.
