[P3D] [4K] PMDG B737 Pitch and Power Basics

Ойын-сауық

Another video on basic Pitch and Power flying. This time in the PMDG 737. Hope this helps you with your manual flying!
Tips and Instructions are only to be used for the Flight Simulator on your PC! It should go without saying that I am only flying a PC Simulator, not a real aircraft. My videos therefore are not intended as professional instruction! And my videos do not show SOP ( Standard Operating Procedure) of any distinct airline.
Please leave a thumbs up if you liked the video. Cheers!

This is just excellent, shows how simple it is to fly even a large jetliner once you know the basics. Thank you so much for this piece of gold.

Thank you very much. I guess one can easily forget that even a fully computrerized FBW plane like the A320 still are subjected to the simple aerodynamic facts. So, all pilots need to remember those basic rules.

Hm, in der 747 hab ich es mal versucht. Aber 5 Tonnen sind da schnell an Fuel weg. Grob hab ich folgende Werte, ob die so funktionieren weiß ich nicht. Mit Gear Down Pitch 2.5°, Flaps 25 N1 61%, Flaps 30 N1 62 - 63 N1.

Great video BB, I like learning about the pitch and power of these aircraft. It must be harder when you are dealing with gusting winds. ? Pattersb.

Hi Pattersb. Yes, when it is gusty, the speed changes make the whole process more unstable. But nevertheless it helps to know your basic values and adjust pitch and power from that value.

Hi Blackbox, could you upload a video which explains the "Windshear Escape Maneuver" (dunno whether it is the same term for Airbus aircraft though), how to handle the A/C safely and if there were any differences between the procedure in a 737 and A320? THX :)

if you're using dx10 mode in fsx, buy the dx10 fixer or find the free fix online or otherwise use dx9 mode

I am not using FSX any more. And in P3D I am lucky enough to not have that problem any more. When I was using FSX I had the DX10 fixer, which also helped. With DX9 I have no idea what could help you I am afraid.
