That's one of the most common issue's with Mitsubishi Eclipse's that can be repaired with throttle body cleaner. Most mechanics don't even know there's a restrictor in that hose. @@theservantwithawrench147 Yea its the same code as yours....So the guy at oriley said it has to clear on its own an i'tll take a while couple weeks . to read it an set on its own.....did yours clear?

@@FIGHT101TV Mines did not clear, but I clear mine through an app attached to the scan port, and it comes back a day later. I believe I have a vacuum leak. Maybe the seal on the upper manifold didn't seal completely when I decided to change my rear spark plugs. Just a heads up...... If you ever have to change the rear spark plugs(in a V6), TAKE YOUR TIME...there's a lot to remove. I had to watch two different videos to get everything right..and when I put everything back together, one of the solenoids (on the passenger side, corner of engine bay,) broke. Had to order a new solenoid through Amazon. Also, keep an eye on the oil. The Spyder tends to consume oil from time to time. I check mine every 2-3 weeks..but I drive 140 miles a day to work and back.😄..no I really do! Also...keep your eye on the tank gas funnel. It's behind the gas cap. Just get down, look underneath, and there's 2-3 lines that leads to the gas tank. Check to see if any of the lines(metal lines) when been rusted through or badly rusted. There also a metal support for the lines..dirt is known for collecting inside of that metal support, and that causes the rusting over the years. Those lines cost $300 or more depending on where you shop(Rockauto, AutoZone, etc.) So hopefully yours are still in good condition! I'm still learning about the Spyder, I'll let you know or post anything if I find anything out. Stay blessed brother!

@@theservantwithawrench147 my EGR is brand new replaced...I just sprayed cleaner on the air sensor....so hopefully my car don't die out when I park anymore. I think mine are clogged too....I'm thinking I can clean it myself . Did u?

Can someone help my figure out what the black box located at the bottom of 9:15 is? I just got this car and it’s not connected to nothing. I have a hose coming from the aluminum block on the bottom right at 9:09 but it’s not connected to nothing but has a suction. Thanks in advance

My car has the same code but mines a 4cyl 2.4, I already cleaned the EGR, what else can I check? My does not have that little hose with the green lines

Have you checked for vacuum leaks yet around the hoses and along any metal lines? You can use some carb spray, and see if the idle has changed as you spray.

So I'm having trouble finding a hose that has that restricter in it can I just make one

Well if you're looking for a replacement hose that is exactly like the hose with the restricter..you won't find it. But you can try and just replace it with a regular hose of the same size without the restricter, and see if that helps. Also, you can go to a junkyard, and see if they have any 3g Eclipses (V6), and just take the hose off of one of those.
