    Do you have any tips on being able to access that bottom bolt on the egr tube??? Even with a flex head ratchet I can't get in there enough

  • @theservantwithawrench147

    Sorry I'm late. Not sure if you solved your issue, but did you try an extension, so you can have space to twist your wrist? Also did you remove the one top bolt for the heat shield? That one bolt on the heat shield got in my way, it tilted my ratchet so my socket wasn't able to catch the bottom EGR bolt.

    Do you know where I can find a new intake manifold for this exact car? Took it to a shop and says I need it replace but I’m pretty sure I can do it myself, however every time i search I only find the intake manifold for the gt trim and idk if it’s the same

  • @theservantwithawrench147
    @theservantwithawrench1478 ай бұрын

    The gts and gt has slightly different intake manifolds. I believe the only differences is that saucer looking thing on the passenger side of the manifold.... it's on the gts but not on the gt. The best place to look for the gts manifold is a junkyard OR you can check out Facebook 3G groups. Some of the members sell their used parts. Also check out Mitsubishi 3G forum online. I'm sure they have a section that sells only parts. May The Lord bless you on your search brother!

    I bad O2 sensor would display as a CEL, or the car would be getting bad gas mileage. 3G cars can get about 28 mpg on the highway. If it's getting less, then check for a CEL light.

    Great video. Do you need to take the egr valve off?

  • @theservantwithawrench147
    @theservantwithawrench147 Жыл бұрын

    You can if you like! It's only two 12mm bolts. When you take it off, try to catch the paper gasket as you loose the EGR valve..or you can buy a new one from AutoZone or O'Reilly's for about $1. When you get the EGR valve off, spray some CARB spray in the passage, and use a Q-Tip to clean the soot out(may have to use like 10 Q-Tips). When you're done, spray a little WD-40 into the passage, let it soak for 30 minutes(or more), pour the WD-40 out of the passage, and put the ERG valve back on.. don't forget the paper gasket.👍😊 Stay Blessed brother!

    If you want to know the Truth, the Truth is most people who are homosexual were molested or introduced to sex at a young age...and they are either embarrassed of what happened long ago, or they relish in that lifestyle of pleading their flesh. So when their flesh dies, they will feel like they are dying within their very soul, because that is all they relied on due to their lifestyle. This doesn't just go for people who are homosexual or transgender, but for anyone who loves themselves more than they love God who gives mercy, grace, and salvation to all of the world, but much of the world HATE God by not listening to Him. They love Jesus' healings and miracles, but they hate when Jesus says "You must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God". People HATE that they have to change for the One who gave them life, and air, and all things to help them stay alive. But God still has mercy on them, but how long will they continue treating Jesus Christ as if He isn't the Son of God? How long will they pretend to believe that tomorrow won't be their last day on Earth? For the Word of God says: "And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment, so also Christ died once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him." - Hebrews 9:27-28 So death, and then judgement (by Jesus Christ). But God is waiting for you to come to Him for healing for your molestating, your trauma, your depression when you were young. You tried to cover it up(the abuse, the sexuality), by receiving a NEW identity because your you didn't want to see yourself as someone who was contaminated by someone else...someone who you trusted. So you searched for a new way to live...but it's just covering up all the pain and confusing you went through as a young person. Man was made in the image of God, so YOU were made in the image of God. But someone came along and tried to make you into another image...and if they couldn't change your body physically, they could change your thinking...your thinking about YOURSELF...making you believe you are worthless, and need to change. But you are not worthless to our Lord Jesus Christ. Your lifestyle is, but your image is not, because you was made in God's image. Jesus came down from Heaven and died for your own ways...so that if you believe in Him, and follow Him, then your everlasting soul will be saved. This is not a religion. No one is telling you to join a church, but only know Jesus Christ, and why he was spit on, and punched repeatedly, tortured on the Cross for all the evil you and I have done... Find out for yourself...and find out for yourself what He wants you to do with your life. Jesus says: "If you cling to your life you will lose it, but if you give up your life for me, you will find it." Have you given up your life to Jesus Christ? Because He gave up His life for you Kassandra. Be blessed in His Name(the Name of Jesus Christ).

    @@theservantwithawrench147 are you speaking as someone who was molested as a child, and turned to religion to help? If yes, you're just projecting. If no, you know even less about the subject than if you had been. And your Bible is no more believable than a book written by me claiming that Abraham Lincoln will come back to life and lead us to everlasting peace

  • @theservantwithawrench147
    @theservantwithawrench147 Жыл бұрын

    Well if you're looking for a replacement hose that is exactly like the hose with the restricter..you won't find it. But you can try and just replace it with a regular hose of the same size without the restricter, and see if that helps. Also, you can go to a junkyard, and see if they have any 3g Eclipses (V6), and just take the hose off of one of those.

    Thank you for watching! This is my 4th time removing the manifold. It gets easier the 2nd time. The first time it took 2 days to take it off..and that was me watching another video on KZread about it, but it wasn't too detailed or clear, so I had to guess some things, and figure it out...and then after a couple times taking it off I decided to make a video revealing the whole process, because there is layers to take off when it comes to this. Just take your time, have a good amount of light near the firewall to know what you're seeing, and feeling with your fingers when back there..and you'll have a good map of what is where. Stay blessed brother!

I've been wanting to do this for months, because there isn't many videos on KZread telling how to take off the manifold.

    umm which is the upstream and the down stream?

  • @theservantwithawrench147
    @theservantwithawrench147 Жыл бұрын

    Upstream is bank 2( the 2 sensors near the radiator and front). Downstream is Bank 1(the 2 sensors behind and after the engine). Think of upstream and downstream this way: River water always flows downstream. The same thing with exhaust gases, they flow down(stream) the exhaust pipelines. Stay blessed brother!
