I love the fact that it’s underrated mainly due to the fwd instead of it being awd otherwise everyone would’ve gone wild for it. Its not only a beginner car its a car that looks beautiful aesthetically and for those who appreciate the looks of it can definitely buy one and customize for cheap unlike most overrated jdm cars. Im happy I bought one tbh my only complaint is the fwd.

Already have mine setup, but it's still amazing to see this being covered! Great video! Currently running 18x8inch evo x wheels with emusa coilovers.

@@RASTALION_rawr yeah g, i feel like the 3rd gen was a really big let down compared to 2g, at the time tho. i see it as the mk 5 supra's beginning, as time went on people started to appreciate it more. that same thing didnt really get to happen with our 3g :/

Yay! I was wishing they did a video on the 3g!

Awesome video! Been a 3g owner for 7 years or so and it's nice to see some love for this gen for once. Even if it's a fwd bucket and nothing particularly special lol it still manages to turn heads and get compliments occasionally. Always thought it had such a great tuner look when done right, sure it's rice as hell but the styling is of its time and as long as you go for a cleaner stock look with thoughtful upgrades and not Roman Pearce's 2fast2furious style hideous bodykits. Feels like driving a boat at times but they are generally easy & cheap to wrench on, perfect for newbies dipping their toes in the car world. Have the same sonar/winjet projector headlights as 2:23, and with some decent wheels it looks like a much newer car. Cheap to buy and cheap to make look good, no more no less.

You know what still needs to happen? What fits: Honda Prelude 1997-2001

I stuffed 20" rims under my 2003 gt spyder. No rubbing. Had to go the lowest profile to get the to fit. I plan on doing the fenders and go wide body to get a more aggressive tire on it. But all and all looks great. I wish I would have found you guys before I bought everything for this car. Lol. Would post of I had. Just feel like I would be showing off competitors. Don't want to be disrespectful. Thanks for all you guys do.

Did you get Shop to change your suspension? Or did you do it yourself and how was it/how much? I just got a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT but it needs its suspension replaced

I had 20x8.5 kmc rims on a bagged by Ekstensive metal works 3g back in the day. Loved that car.

Should have done some 3g's with 19's and specifically the ''Ghost Eclipse'', that car looks amazing and is stanced as good as it gets. Because of the huge wheel well on the 3g's 18's are pretty good but in my opinion 19's look the best , but in some ways can look a little big, so I think if there was a such thing as 18.5 inch wheels that would be probably what I would go for.

It’d be really cool to do a wheel set up for PONTIAC Grand Prix GTP or GXP

You can get rid of that black box if it’s in your way. Take out the fender liner, and very carefully take an angle grinder to it and cut it off
