I lived in Romania and clearly remember feeling incredibly safe behind apartment/hotel doors. However, I live in Spain now and the locking system for my current apartment is similar to bolting a safe at a bank. Closing the lock triggers at least 5 deadbolts, and I'd be surprised to find anyone able to break it down no matter how much time they spent at the gym.

@nrawayne This is filmed in Romania. Here we have walls half a meter thick of concrete bricks, not wood and cardboard like in USA. My sister has walls about 70cm thick in her house, so good luck breaking one up. In that building in particular, the walls were at least 15-20cm thick of concrete bricks, so still harder to break than the door. I don't mean to defend the police , just to shine some light on the confusion.

Almost in,and a call comes in ,the suspect 's flight has already touched down in different continent .

Moved into an apartment once. The door was 2X8 oak planks, iron strapped with bolts and a 1 inch thick by 4 inch wide bar that rotated into hooks bolted to the door frame. I thought, "Gee, I wonder what was going on in here!" lol

My wife has an apartment in Romania. The door is made of steel with a steel frame. The door is secured with 6 steel bolts that goes into the steel frame. Many apartments there have these steel doors. The are decorated and looks like wood.

I sawed this door in half! And repaired it using only flex tape. Now the cops cant get in
