I have just found you in you tube while searching for a better tent. I spent 7 weeks in this tent this past summer… and I knew planning for my 8 week trip this summer that this ozark tent wasn’t good- with terrible rain storms and big wind gusts - I Was worried with my kids in it every night- so i was considering the wawona 6 person which is how I found you! So I really appreciate seeing your thoughts and tests on the ozark- bc- it gives me better insight in your review of the wawona- if that makes sense 🤪 You are amazing- your attention to detail and tests of all these tents is sooooo wonderful. Just wanted to say thank you! And share how your video impacted me. I’m hoping I’ll be able to (squeeze) me and my 4 big kids into the wawona. NEVER using ozark again lol!

That totally makes sense! And YESSS the Wawona is such an upgrade from this Ozark, and it's so much more spacious too, I'm sure your kids would love it! 🥰 Hmm although for the five of you guys, maybe you can consider the bigger version of the Wawona! It's gonna be a weeee bit tight for you and 4 big kids 😅 Awww it really means a lot to me that you like all the tests and info! And thank you for taking the time to let me know. You're the best! 🥰

Great review glad I seen it, my local Walmart has these on clearance for $88, normal price $170.99, I thought to myself, that's a steal, but thinking not so much after watching this.

Another awesome review Liz. It was great that you compared your results against another tent, not many reviewers do that. Also the vertical wall test and the graphics to demonstrate it were really helpful. Your testing was absolutely spot on and answered many question a potential buyer might have. This tent though, is only destined for the landfill. Anyone paying for a 6 person tent can increase their budget a bit and get much better quality products from Coleman, Decathlon etc. Now I know why your friend didn't use this tent much and was happy to get rid of it 😅😅 Cheers on another awesome review.

It really means a lot to me that you actually watch and comment on every single one of my videos 🤯🥰 I'm really glad that you liked the graphics too, my new editor worked on this one (I changed editors 2 months ago cos the first one wasn't working). And yeahhh Decathlon and even Coleman have much better quality products for sure. My friend was equally horrified at how badly this Ozark Trail tent deteriorated in her storage room 😅😅😅

@@CampingGuidance Anytime Liz. The muted neutral colours make a lot more sense with your narration style. That tent looks like it was used and abused for 10 years. Talk about having no quality control . But I guess that's to be expected of something from Walmart 😅😅

There are actually 2 versions of this tent. The one seen here, and a FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) model. The FRP model has to be assembled. The elbows cannot bend. The poles are all inserted into the joints and the roof is higher as it's rounder. And as with any tent, you Must waterproof and seam seal it for extra protection.

Thanks for the review. This deliquescent black lining is disappointing, especially after only 2 years. Was this tent used a lot ?

You're welcome! I'm really glad that you liked the review Stéphane, that means a lot to me 🥰 And yeah I was very disappointed with the lining too. Hmm I would say that it was used maybe 3-4 times in 2 years. Not a lot for how quickly it fell apart.

My fav so far is the Coleman Sundome Dark Room 6!

I was wondering why the material is so patchy. I suppose you get what you pay for, but the funny thing is that many people are very happy with their Ozark Trail tents. May they just did the black-out effect too cheaply.

HAHA yeah I was wondering too, until I touched it 😆 And yeah I've heard a lot of folks loving their Ozark Trail tents. I should get more in for testing one day 🤔 And thank you so much for always watching my videos! I know that they're not always the most interesting, so I appreciate it 🥰
