I've started counting how many times I've said "this is one of my favorite spots" in these videos and it's getting up there. Truth is, they're all some of my favorites and this one is high up there on the list! The newer Hand Cut Hollow system here in the @OzTrailsNWA is legit! It's got some killer runs (as you'll see in the video ;) and it also has some super sweet singltrack that you'll see in an upcoming video.
There are multiple ways to get to this spot.
1) You can ride there from downtown. We did our best to encapsulate how to get that done. Put simply, ride All American or the greenway from downtown.
2) You can hit the newer J St Parking lot and hit a short, fun ride over (as we did in the video)
3) You can park on the east side of I49 and roll in from the trail head on the southeast side. You can check Trail Forks for this location.
Again, something for everyone when you roll from this HUB. Please do yourself a favor and PRE RIDE, RE RIDE, then FREE RIDE. There isn't anything too crazy out here, but there are some spots that could catch you if you aren't ready for them.

Rich, this is a really good series. There's so much MTBing in Bentonville if you don't live there you might not know these places exist and just stay on the main drag. Thanks!

@@richdrewtherideseries we will be in Bentonville on Thursday night until Sunday. Hopefully the rain hold out.
My father and I went there a couple of weeks ago and ABSOLUTELY fell in Love! We both ride LEVO's and in Iowa we're kind of an oddity here but out there it was like heaven! We mainly rode Coler and Phases 2&3 of slaughter pen as well as a little bit of the back 40 I believe so when we come back we'll have to look for these trails! We found some REALLY crazy looking jump line on a hillside in the woods made by the Trailblazers that was close to an old RV with the OZ trails logo on it that you could jump it of! SERIOUSLY sick trails ALL OVER OUT THERE!
OMG these are my fave Benton County trails. Great loop trail and fun DH. That said, watching y’all ride these is a bit like watching you steal my date in high school. 😆😆 you crushed em! Lol, another great video tho, thx!

Just rode it today! Really like the big rock kickers on My Hero Zero and Interplanet Janet was also my favorite. The blacks are fun but are definitely more techie black, vs large feature blacks. The blue trails were all really fun in their own ways. Also, we ate at the bagel place this morning. It was fantastic!

Just rode there last week ..Easy ride from town up Tiger to J street...But I ended up on the Traverse Loop and some samples of Zone 4.. Some gnarly stuff...
Another trail to hit up when we return! Imma just call it jank-n-flow for now.

I was there about a month ago, Handcut Hollow was my favorite of what I was able to ride (didn't get to ride Coler as most of it was closed that week). I do agree Body Machine and Interplanet Janet are the two best trails there. You could ride Interplanet slow, but why would you want to, it's pretty much designed to let you easily carry a ton of speed. Oh and mind the gaps on Body Machine, a couple of them are REALLY unforgiving, it's also like Dragon scales where if you have a big travel bike you can just fly through those rock gardens, without the super tight corners of Dragon Scales.

oh im SO going here. never heard of it until i saw the 2024 bike fest race info. now I gotta go do it since its part of the race. guess im racing in the pro class just to do it. lol
