A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I'm a drummer, so my 1st hero here is Dave of course, but anyone here can appreciate the huge talent of every single musician. None of them is playing average, they are all at a top level. Simply amazing.

I keep coming back to dig on Weckl punching the clock, but I always love to see Brown and Etkins trading those solos, and they look like they are having so much fun! Love it.

Stumbled on this gem the other day....... WOW! Freakin smoking. Can't stop jamming to this song, the whole album is amazing as well.

Omg that solo section from 5.28. Weckxy is the most efficient drummer ever, so damn easy for him so much control.

Is great to see Weckl with much other musicians out of the pinapple! Is a humble actitudes that show what he belong to all the community!

Superb Musicianship.

This composition is an absolute masterpiece in me book. Mr. Oytun, please keep writing pieces like this. When I first heard this song I flew out of my chair. I listened to it no less than 15 times back to back, studying and memorizing it. Now it is SO ENJOYABLE knowing every note when listening on my hifi system. So incredibly clean, powerful and precise!! Thank you again for this bad ass tune, thank you thank you thank you!!!

Weckl always makes it seem effortless. Crazy!

Besides the top flight musicianship, what really fascinates me is those guys were probably cutting edge looking young musicians in the 80's but now look like their own dads. Ultra tight sound from all involved.

They were in the Great Band of Chick Corea .... no surprised their heart to heart cleany collaboration .... always nice jamming ... between them.

Probably the most fluid drummer on earth with Gavin Harrison in a close second.

Complete and total mastery of his instrument and able to communicate his vast vocabulary at a moment's notice. Says what needs to be said according to the music. Fluid and dynamic. And don't concern yourself with the drums, the cymbals, the heads, the sticks. When it's all mic'd up and eq'd, he'll make cardboard boxes and garbage can lids sound good.

you are completely off-road friend, as a sound engineer I can tell you that you really don't get anything out of the dash drums, the sound starts already perfect and excellently tuned on an excellent instrument and then everything else comes

The funny thing about jazz is when it's really good it reminds one of intros to old TV shows like Night Court or Seinfeld.

Gerry and Dean did great work with Billy Cobham in the 80's. Great respect for these Super Musicians especially for Dave Weckl

The only thing I’m sad about is David is getting old and one day he won’t be able to play or one day he’ll gone. I’ve been following him for decades and it’s amazing to see him. My favorite player without doubt.

I didn’t even have to know that was Marienthal on sax to know it was him. This is amazing.

Gerry Etkins (Keys) loved the solo man you spot on great feeling spot on the music vibe keep up the good work.

Dave is a machine! My favorite drummer ever. Though I'm not a big fan of the style of music he plays, I am always huge fan of his drumming. So technical, so smooth, and spot on. All these guys are brilliant musicians.

Dave's cymbal sounds and ghost notes are just amazing. All time great!!

his band is just killin!!! I remember those days while Gerry was playing at '' L'Air Du Temps' 'in Montreal with Tiger Okoshi's band. Amazing feel...amazing player!
