Your absolute right, we don't need museums to see such architecture and the love of the work people put into homes. Instead of a disposable lifestyles, we need to embrace the homes that are being abandoned and restore them !! Every piece of it !❤

Matt I believe children’s books are much older than the 60s or 70s maybe 30s or 40s. The stamps are seals, they were used quite often to seal letters. The seals have always intrigued me. I have one. I am always so surprised at how many abandoned homes there are where you are. I do enjoy your channel and collaborations with Mark. ❤
Hi Matt, the paperwork you showed upstairs is the title deeds to the property. Its unbelievable that those papers have not been removed because they are very important. I hope that property is in probate and will go to a relative. I have found out that a lot of the properties are left because they are in probate and the rightful owner/relative are unknown or they are unaware of the property or if it has been left to them. Loving the vids 😁👍
Seeing people's clothes that aren't all chewed or rotted away, makes it feel like they're still there! It's eerie!

Wow what an awesome time capsule. The old style paper work was referring to the land and the house. One was talking about the land being divided up. The paper work with the red wax W was a lawyers authenticity seal, a deed seal. That was talking about a couple in the premises having the right to tenant there for life Hobson and Broad. The house had double everything, kitchen, lounge rooms because there were two families living there. This is a beautiful old house and it is such a shame it is being left to the elements to be destroyed. You are right about a lot of the stuff needing to be in a museum especially the title deeds and the suitcase full of land maps and such. The owner of the house and surrounding lands was quite vast and the documents are the living history of the place. The deed documents with the dates crossed out were because they were up dated, instead of writing up new documents the date were altered and notarized. It would be good if those documents were collected up and put back in there proper folders and the suitcase closed to protect them from degrading as the elements encroach on the house. My heart breaks thinking of the memories just lying around forgotten like this.makes me wonder what happened to the people in those photographs. Imagining how the place was back in the day. Thank you for letting us join you to see such beautiful things. I think those things you think are stamps are actually seals. The paranormal stuff is just amazing and scary.

At about 15:50, you asked for an approximate time frame for those childrens books. Just look inside any of those books and find the Copyright date. Matt, you are so steady, so thorough and so patient with everything, thank you for that. Adam seems very chatty in this one. Just so you are aware, the human Spirit does not die, the body does. At about 27:10 the Spirit Talker said "we live on". That's a true and accurate statement. A well-loved home, in a beautiful area. That's actually really nice to hear about this place, and the Spirit you're communicating with, "loved". Thank you for a very nice video!

Matt, that 1st thing you didn't know was a clothes brush. And I've never seen those door handles anywhere! When you come across a book and want to know the year just lool in the first few pages and fond the copyright date. That gives the last year it was printed .😉

Matt, I would like to encourage you to start writing books. Supernatural stories, maybe like Ron Ripley but you are very talented and your writing style is very intricate. You can actually create visuals with your words. Perhaps a few of your nicely composed photographs you take on sites would be a fantastic thing to add to your stories to complete the writing with visual effects. Riggs did that in his work Miss Peregrine’s however he had a collection of vintage photos and created stories about them later. X

Adam's Video was off the scale paranormal. This is a different house in comparison.
May have just looked up davenport bated and a painting he did of Constantinople sold in 2018 for 47,000 those paintings really bead taking out of that house such a well known artist I think it said he was 1897 -1930 what a shame x

That fire in the first living room we used to have the same one 😅. On one of the fireplaces it almost looked like a moorcraft jug !!. The building is full of old collectibles. The books I'd say are from the 30s/40s. It's so sad as it looks like it was a happy home. I think maybe it's in probate and that's why it's not been touched ( I'd like to think that ). It's so sad tho . Thanks Matt, nice find.

when homes have been abandoned with everything left behind its usually because the surviving members of the family dont want to live there anymore the loving parents who once lived there have passed away leaving behind strong memories they are too strong and emotional to stay other factors of course the cost of upkeep of a old property passed on to the surviving members of the family that's why some just walk away it is what it is

Great explore 🥰 when you both were in the living room downstairs, at the bottom of the stairs the paint peel looks like a face with it’s eyes covered 😮 I thought that was very strange 😱
21:10 The "old stamps" are legal wax seals for important deeds or other documentation. Often seen on backs of envelopes sealing an opening at the V. Also on certificates like University doctorates, that sort of thing. The stamp indicates a specific identification like a lawyer's seal. The hot wax is poured onto the paper and the stamp is placed into the hot wax. When it dries, it hardens and cannot be botched with.

This house went mental when Adam was on his own.Interesting how it will be for two of ye will it be as active as when Adam was alone.
They are Initial Seals Matt they are like a signature (high class) well to do familites signed off documents by heating up the red wax pouring on the paper or parchment and using the metal seal to stamp down the wax and leave to dry before posting or delivery.

Hey Matt - I know you said you're Welsh in response to someone in a comment on one of your videos. I'm just wondering, can you speak fluent Welsh? I love remote north-west Wales, right at the end of the Llýn Peninsula - I used to go there on holiday as a kid 😊
The paperwork looks like titles or deeds to like property, the home, a car ect. I'm surprised they would just be lying about. Makes u wonder where the family is now ?? Yes some of the books look like the 50s
