I really appreciate your kindness and generosity of spirit in this series. Working in the mental health field, there are so many people that struggle with meeting basic needs during periods of tragedy and grief and don’t have the support to change their environment. You really are making a big difference in their lives by doing this.

I can't imagine how difficult this was for your client, but I also imagine it feels like a mountain have lifted off her shoulders. What a satisfying week's work. Especially impressive that your husband and his mother was moved enough by compassion to help. Well done guys.

I cried halfway through the video...I started watching your channel since before I got pregnant...in a lot of ways I felt that you guided me, with which products to buy and how to handle motherhood. My daughter is soon to be 6 years old. I've dealt with depression since my teenage years and have had ups and downs throughout. I am a single mom but I have my family close. I recently lost my teaching job due to the school closing. This project is such a huge thing! Helping this lady clean her home is wonderful, it will provide her with a boost that might transform her life and her little ones. She's very brave allowing others to help her. With my depression, although I stay on top of cleaning, I definitely procrastinate and certain tasks start piling up until it becomes much harder to even try to tackle them.

The amount of dopamine such a dramatic clean releases, it's amazing! Also, it's very kind of Matt's mom to get involved.

I really enjoy your new series, Emily! I recently made a "cleaning for my mental health" video for my Russian-speaking audience where I told them about my depression (to do with moving to France and my second pregnancy) and how it affected my house. I got a lot of comments that it was my own fault, lots of unwanted advice of how I should behave and even offensive stuff from someone who was mildly toxic under previous videos but was plain rude when I came out with my vulnerability. I really put me off from sharing anything personal in Russian. I just want to say that the English-speaking world seems far more understanding in terms of mental health and its affects on life. Thank you.

It was so good of you guys to help this woman and her kids. It doesn't take long for things like house cleaning to get out of control when not done especially when you're depressed and grieving. God bless you all. 💙🙏💙

Well...not just KZread but everything everywhere...the world would be such a different place to live in. Emily, you are obviously a woman that is aware of how blessed she is and you're a lovely person to want to bless others too. Idk how many others are like me, but I would rather hear you cleaning than have music. A landscaper I watch does two versions one with and one without-called The Boring Channel, lol. He does free work, just stops at places that need help-including neglected graveyards.

When doing mountains of dishes have plastic totes with dish racks in them so you can have them air drying in a corner and you can get a heap done 😊👍🏽
