Thank you for this, I was wondering how to attach my hose to a jet washer. My husband used to do all that stuff before he died. I feel like an expert now!

Stephanie Winter, be aware, Karcher jet wash manufacturer strongly advises NOT to use aquastop valve as they have been known to reduce the flow/pressure, so the motor in the jet wash runs dry, and then is faulty. Happened many times before. Don't use an aquastop valve for a jetwash. Use a normal one, the ones where when you remove your spray gun, the water starts shooting out. They don't reduce flow.

The coloyyrs are incredible

Been using their products for a number of years and have to say they last well, so much better than the amount of Chinese copycat products out there. Pricey, but defintely worth the money if you are a serious gardener.

which fitting would I use for a stretch type hose?

Hi all. I have never had such bad fittings as Hozelock. will never buy them again. now brass for me. much cheaper in the long run of things.

Some disappointed users in the comments ??? I have used this brand of fitting on trade quality hose pipe for twenty years, without a problem, use the better quality items from the range, , you get what you pay for.

I left my hoselock spray gun outside when it was snowing, now it's leaking from the connector quite a lot, why is this?

Hi Lolanda, we advise that our products are taken in over winter as they are plastic and subject to frost damage, which is what the snowflake on our products signifies. you can try soaking the gun in warm water and vinegar and see if this resolves the problem failing this it is likely frost damage.

The water expands when frozen, and pushes the O rings out of their seats. Usually you can just clean them up and re-seat them, or replace them.

Anything with water in that freezes will be damaged potentially (Water expands when frozen) Just basic physics and applies to anything that uses water, its why pipework could be damaged if your heating fails in winter in the house like what happened in Texas not too long ago

They're rubbish - they leak at every joint and are impossible to take apart.
