BRILLIANT! I love the initial shock of Bill and Piers and then the genuine laughter. They could learn a lot from him. You can be funny and smart and wise and kind without being egotistical, narrow-minded (sorry feels like Bill is on this track, sadly) and always complaining. Let’s clone WFS!!!

@@tanja0411 That's my only bitch with Bill Maher is that he's smarmy with his commentary. I'll grant him his liberal views; we all think differently. But to present it as though anyone who has a different view shouldn't be taken seriously is a bit arrogant -- and Bill is quite comfortable in his arrogance. I get that he's a comedian but the good ones can bitch-slap both sides without being smug about it. And make no mistake, both sides have given him a load of material to work with.

My 72 year old mother had just had rotator cuff surgery a few days before, but she was determined to meet him, so we did. She was in obvious pain, but he was very kind to her and spoke with her at length. Four years later, we had a chance to meet him at Fan Expo in Toronto. When we were about to get a picture taken, he stood up, called my mother by her first name, and thanked her for coming to see him again. I love William Shatner! In 1975 or 76, a friend & I went to a Star Trek convention for the sole purpose of meeting him. We were seniors in high school. It was rumored he would be there, so we took a chance & bought tickets. They said he'd never been to one of the Star Trek conventions before (& I don't think he ever went again). We got there so early we were able to get 2nd row seats. He was so personable yet so 'regular', just a very endearing man, just as he is today!! It was a gorgeous day in Manhattan & he was genuinely puzzled as to why we were inside- indoors, at this convention. He said, "I don't understand!! It's a beautiful day!! Go back outside, go for a walk!" It was so sincere & innocent. He was just amazing to see! The convention was over & we headed back to Brooklyn, a dream come true-- having met William Shatner! He was so nice & what you see on camera truly seems like just how he is. Love 'im!🤗 Anyway, just a shared memory. William Shatner, terrific.

We noticed a camper with a guy sleeping in it in the far corner of the parking lot near a bar. We spent the night waking him up throwing rocks on his roof. Donna here, in the south where I live, pay is NOT going up like other places. I am coming up on 65 and had to stop working because of an injury, so am on S.S., which is not secure, and not enough to live on. Everybody was supposed to get a big increase in SS, but that didn't happen for me. Everything from insurance, phone bills, utilities, gas, groceries and more have gone up since covid. Everything but paychecks. Thanks to Senator Kennedy(who I didn't vote for) and Congressman Mike Johnson (who I didn't vote for), my state is a pig sty. A clear insult to pig sties everywhere! So I know that we (the royal we) are doing better, but for those of us who live paycheck to paycheck, and just had damage to our house in the last bad weather that came through, no we are not seeing ANY of this 'progress'!

@@tanja0411 That's my only bitch with Bill Maher is that he's smarmy with his commentary. I'll grant him his liberal views; we all think differently.

I watched Shatner on Merv Griffin in the early 80's, he spoke about when he lived in a camper doing diner theatre, like the Carousel Theatre in Scottsdale, it was on the outskirts of town back then, and I was a kid in 7th grade, and my buddy and I would go bird hunting til sundown, the just mess around by the theatre. We noticed a camper with a guy sleeping in it in the far corner of the parking lot near a bar. We spent the night waking him up throwing rocks on his roof. He recounted this story on Merv Griffin, nearly fell out of my chair when I heard it....
Captain Kirk is comedic gold
Loved this! Everyone was witty, funny and on point! Even Pierce saying what the Monarchy brings to the table. Kudos to James Tiberius Kirk, who at 93 can still work a room and garner laughs and while some of his comments may have seemed surreal, they hit a subliminal tone that Americans need to reflect upon!
William S. really brought a completely different dimension to the show. It took Bill M. a little while to settle into it, but it worked out really well. I haven't seen Piers enjoy himself that much for quite a while. Then he had to spoil it. Such a shame. Great show.

William Shatner, "Hold my beer" 😂
Best thing about bill maher? William Shatner. Absolute Legend
Bill Shatner's sense of humor and presence of mind at this age is truly impressive and incisive!
Bill’s timing is impeccable at his gracious age.
Excellent overtime! Great guests!
I could listen to Bill Shatner all day long.
Shatner's comedy skills are on point . . .
O Captain! My Captain! William Shatner being legendary is what I needed tonight!
Is there anyone more charming that Shatner?
